Game of the Week

A Team of Fire & Ice @ USAF - Combat Controllers

With the lack of quality rosters in the league, this game is literally the only in week 1 that serves the competitive appetite we all share. While I do feel USAF is the stronger team in this game, I also feel that TFI is going to serve up some shockers this season. On paper it is apparent that USAF has the advantage with their ability to pass the ball and to shut down opposing running games. So in reality, TFI is likely going to have to have success with their Passing Arsenal and find a way to shut down that of the opposition. I'm picking USAF 35-14

Game of the Week

Chicago Grizzlies @ USAF - Combat Controllers

It might be safe to say these are the two best teams in the Zeta Conference. This one is going to be a smashmouth football game. If you look at the teams on paper, Chicago is slightly better in a few areas than USAF. I'm not going to bank on that to be enough to make the difference. In this game, I'm going to say a turnover makes the difference. 21-14 the Grizzlies take it by a 4th Qtr nail biter.

No problem, I would do a lot more and more in depth if we had a competitive league but....we don't.
