i think team ELs mean less now then they ever did.. I mean as long as you are at a a certain level, you will be fine at the WL level. It takes Coords and or care to compete at the here. I see a few teams that have none of the above.

typically over 80% of the top 16 eff levels make the playoffs so I'd say it's a pretty good indicator.

true, generally speaking I think it's a pretty good indicator of who are the better teams and playoffs, but once the playoffs start, all bets are off.
