There are two tournaments to sign up for. One, which is NBNC, is for NBNC teams that played in the NBNC league last season or will be NBNC this season. This tournament will have either 8 or 16 teams, depending on interest. The other tournament is for all pee wee teams and will have invitations to start with and maybe will later have open sign ups. Just to make it clear, the silver tournament is cancelled for the future and will be replaced by these tournaments.

Invite Criteria:

We will start by inviting all of the gold teams that either win a playoff game or finished in the regular season top 4 on either side.

Group Play: Before Day 13
Play-in Game 1: Day 14-16
Play-in Game 2: Day 16-18
Semifinal: Before Day 23
Final: Before Day 29

Format:

We will have 12 teams that are split into 3 groups of 4 teams each. The three group winners will all advance to the next round. Then, the three second place teams will play off to decide who gets the 4th spot. They will be ordered based on point differential and the 2nd and 3rd teams will play first and the winner will play the 1st team. Then, it will be single elimination from there to decide a champion.

Just to emphasize, I am only taking sign ups for NBNC right now. There may or may not be open sign ups for the invitational tournament, it depends on how many of the invitees accept the invitation.

Count my AZ Cardz team in for any tourney, but I would separate the Silver tourney and the NBNC tourney. Also, I think there will be a lot of interest in a NBNC tourney, so you would probably need more than 8 slots like you were originally thinking of.

And count the CWLB in for the invitational tourney as well.

Just to make things clear, there is no silver tourney. There are two tournaments in this thread. One is the NBNC tournament for which only teams from LE's NBNC league are eligible and the other is an invitational tournament for pee wee's top teams.

If you want to refer to the Packerz as "Two Time NBNC Champs" on the signup sheet, you can do that, too.

Hudson Deuces, PNM, O'Side Pee Wees, can you guys please decide on your invites to the tournament? Also, we need more NBNC teams to sign up for the NBNC tournament.

We were the Tenn Titanz in NBNC last season with a record of 1-8

Talk to Dee Hall about O'Side. Not sure if we will field a team at all this season.

No reason the NBNC portion needs to be Pee Wee only, since non-boosted Rookie teams would be on the same level... which might be more likely now that it looks you don't have to boost right away.
