I don't think you're allowed to pass block left on SB Trips?

I thought that applied only to the automatic audibles and not the manual blocking options. The Pass Block Left setting was still available to choose from the drop down menu.

If you can't block the TE left and the HB is useless in pass protection, shouldn't the OL slide over and pickup the ROLB? As it is, the TE blocking right runs across OL to pickup the most dangerous pass rusher. It pretty much means the formation is useless vs the heavy blitz teams and the counter to stop that doesn't even work.

you cant hold the TE to the left, it would make the formation and illegal formation

make a blocking HB, or do what i did and put a blocking FB in a HB. I mean it helps but its still not even close to usefull. the HB doesnt even get in the way to slow up the LB.

I bitched every all preseason season about it,

ryan is correct .. illegal formation

blocking is all sorts of screwy when the TE is held (i've seen him when you flipped to the left side race across and try and take out the SS/CB strong side). and the HB is usually a joke in his ability. while i'm obv biased here, i know it should be better; but i don't want to see it super human either.

im going to build a fucking blocking HB. seriously, if thats what it takes to be able to block with a HB. but id like to see one work before i take the time and flex to build one

Not sure. but ive been talking about it all season, and yea actually special teams. for how i tend to run my offenses it would make sense, but it wouldnt make sense for other teams. I would use the shit out of that dot. Im building it this off season.

it seems like there is no reason to overload blitz anymore because sending 1 or 2 guys is just as effective (for quite a few seasons now) and it provides enough pass covg to make it a not so risky play.

you can pretty much send 1 LB (doesn't even have to be a blitzer) or CB or FS or SS and be set for the season. a held in HB/TE/extra OL should be able to pickup those guys (HB can chip for an extra second or 2 in the pocket) provided something like Disguise Blitz doesn't fire or a OL missing a vision check (that can scale in difficulty depending on if the dot has blitzing VAs and SAs which also helps distinguish blitzers from pure speed covg dots).

Yea thats my thing, if its a 3 man line and then 1 LB blitz, I expect 5 lineman to pick up the 4 dots. there is just no reason for crazy instant pressure because they didnt see or expect a blitzer.. horse shit. most good WL O line guys have 60-70 Vision if thats not enough then what it. also. I dont care if its a pure scat hb, he should atleast be able to get in the way of a blitz lb, they dont do anything at all. I mean its a joke to try and block with any kind of hb.

its just stupid, Ive seen the OT, G, C all blocking the DE while the CB runs right by all 3 of them. but because he has Harry Potters magic cloak they cant see him.

Don't build a blocking HB cow - build a power hb and add blocking instead of catching/jumping/confidence

strength agility carrying speed vision blocking stamina - do it

why , i dont run as it is... and if i make a 100% blocking HB, I will use him more than a power back that has a little bit of blocking. I dont run the ball. If i have a blocking back that runs a little it will work better for ME than a runner who blocks... but thats just me.

I want him to have spot blitz and all of the other stupid SAs that i dont think work for HBs and FBs.
