http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2432666 only 24 boosts???

When I look at the Rolling Level Chart I assumed it was for players that hit 280 days old

The boost/level cap is for any age player. As it happens people are going to run into it more and more (eventually all players that want to reach level 79 will as APD made players reach level 69ish)

The reason this is just starting to confuse people is that players made before APD was implemented required more boosts to reach lower levels (74ish) so had more boosts in already.

The funny thing about all this- it takes fewer boosts to reach level 79 now and fewer seasons, and people are complaining that it's a money grab. I realize not everyone takes the time to think about how things work but it has been explained many times in various forums and has been laid out in the game changes forum since APD was implemented in S24 for all to view. You are getting a better deal out of APD than before. You get as many seasons of play time as you did before APD, but you get there faster and with less boosts. If you don't believe me just do the math. 3 boosts in creation season, 3 boosts for 10 seasons, plus maybe 6 plateau boosts to reach level 79. Thats 39 boosts.

Look at the XP list of players made in S15-22 or so. If you don't have one, ask someone how many boosts they needed to reach level 79. It's likely going to be more than 30.

This. It's just wrong to think it's a cash grab.

The rolling level cap is necessary to ensure people don't skimp on boosting in the early seasons to get more benefit out of training.
