They pretty much have to do the same things with an FS being a less stronger version no?

Difference between LB and SS are that the SS is generally smaller and faster, probably with higer vision, LB is stronger, bigger and has a higher tackle rating and probably a harder tackle.
FS are generally for defending the pass, so they will generally be quicker than an SS, and an SS might be slightly stronger.
But like RAPB said, it's still only season 3, so people will still be trying to get their core stats (speed, vision, agility etc.) up, so many builds will look alike.
