What does everyone think about SAs, is there any value in Snarl or Aura of Intimidation or Defense General? And if not can you use the CEQ for Monster Hit and simply raise that to 10 or 11, or do you still need to buy the earlier abilities on the tree?

I like using my CEQ to raise SA's to 10 while other like to use it to raise % based AEQ pieces. My theory is why get an SA to 7-8 when you can get it to 10 and get it to fire more.

Because in most cases you can't replicate the effect of %based stuff in any other way. It's a quite unique bonus. In SA's you can get the exactly same effect for a few SP.

A start but you still need to learn some fundamental things. You want to be putting ALL your SP's into one of your major (yellow star) attributes. 33 is more or less the number where you want to stop training an attribute and start putting SP's into it. You do not want to get secondary attributes to 33 using SP's, but do it with training while you funnel SP's into your primary attribute. The "magic numbers" you want to try to hit with SP's are the caps 48, 61, 68, etc. You can find the more precise values of these on the Wiki. These are the caps where the SP cost to go up another point increases. The basic idea is to get to them as quickly as possible so that the SP value of your automatic attribute gains is multiplied. Generally when you build a player you have a "cap order" that is the order in which you are going to raise attributes, and where you are going to stop. For my current MLB who is about to hit lvl79, my cap order was Strength->81, Tackling->81, Agility->81, Vision->78, Speed->78, Stamina->? (haven't decided). Some of that was done simultaneously, with multiple stats being raised side-by-side to meet his training regimen.
