Week 9, I had a bad record last week. But a lot of games are just a 50/50 guess for me. This week I am a little more confident but let’s bring it on Week 10.
Zeta Game of the Week
St. Petersburg Storm(7-2) vs Warsaw Warriors (8-1)
St. Petersburg has a awesome chance in this game. Although, Warsaw has been on a roll I think its going to be a close defensive battle. St. Petersburg has lost by 3 (Grodno) and 4 (London) which are teams that you can’t be a shamed to lose to. Anyways I see this one going down to the wire.
Prediction: 13-6 (Warsaw)
London Head Hunters (9-0) vs. Tricity Hares (4-5)
London is a great team but they have had some pretty close games against some good teams. I see the same thing happening in this game, because Tricity is good and have given me two wins so far from fairly big upsets. I am giving them a fairly good shot at this game but the records don’t lie and I have to go with London despite Tricity’s stout Defense.
Prediction: 17-6 (London)
Chernobyl Radionuclides (5-4) vs. Hat Creek Cattle Co. (7-2)
It is pretty easy to pick your team each week but it makes you feel like you’re being biased. I think that we are gonna win another close game but I don’t know if I can pick us against London next week. I think our Defense is going to win this one for us.
Prediction: 17-7 (Hat Creek)
The Look (6-3) vs. Grodno Buckaroos (6-3)
Both teams our on a 2 game losing streak, both losing to two great teams. One of them is going to come out with a 3 game losing streak. There has been news that Grodno owner has gone inactive and no one can control the team. If The Look doesn’t pounce on this then I’ll be very disappointed because that will give me a loss. I got The Look in this one.
Prediction: 20-6 (The LOOK)
Longreach Wildcats (1-8) vs. Sydney Tire Irons (1-8)
I hate predicting these kind of games. It really is just who shows up for the game. Longreach just got their first win in a fairly dominant game. I think I am going to base this game off of Chemistry
Prediction: 20-6 (Longreach)
C-town Hoodlums(1-8) vs. Carluke Cobras (2-7)
Both teams got me a loss last game. Carluke gave Longreach their first win. C-Town had a pretty close game with Prague. I just think Carluke is better than their record and they should win this one, don’t make me regret it this time Carluke.
Prediction: 22-13 (Carluke)
Prague Panthers (2-7) vs. Subotica Scorpions (0-9)
Subotica is the last team in Zeta without a win. Prague just feels bad for teams without wins as they have given both Longreach and Sidney their first wins! I see it happening again, sorry Prague you’re just tooo nice to the winless teams.
Prediction: 21-17 (Subotica)
Volograd Berserks (8-1) vs. Haguenau Coyotes(4-5)
Volograd proved me wrong last game and Haguenau is just freefalling fast. I think Volograd proved to be a better team than I thought when they beat a pretty good Grodno team. Coyotes now is your chance to comeback.
Prediction: 35-12 (Volograd)
I am still learning about Alpha, I actually had a better record in Alpha last week than Zeta. But I will be wrong and I don’t care to be honest.
Alpha Game of the Week
Minsk Ninjas (8-1) vs Texas Aggies (6-3)
This gets game of the week because Minsk is a great team and so is Texas, No one has put up a fight against Minsk (Besides LBT). Texas though, they are now a top 10 team and fo’ realz, I just don’t see Minsk slowing down anytime soon, unless Texas finds out how to score and stop that explosive Offensive.
Prediction: 31-17 (Minsk)
Bratislava Vampires (3-6) vs. Charleston Roadwarriors (3-6)
This is actually going to be an interesting game. Charleston has done very well against the bottom half of Alpha and Bratislava is pretty good too. Although I think Charleston has a better team and a little bit more momentum (Before Minsk)
Prediction: 27-17 (Charleston)
Florida Buccaneers (1-8) vs. London Dolphins (0-9)
London needs a win and Florida pretty much has been terrible since week 2 on, no offense. I think all the winless teams are getting wins today. (Subotica vs Prague in Zeta)
Prediction: 15-7 (London)
Moscow Bears (6-3) vs. Lowell Bengal Tigers (9-0)
Moscow has been inconsistent and well Lowell has been consistently winning game after game. I don’t see Lowell slowing down now but they won’t overlook them or anyone else.
Prediction: 31-0 (LBT)
Fehérvár Enthroners (6-3) vs. NISSA Dauphins (4-5)
Enthroners are one step from being a really dominant team in Alpha. NISSA on the other hand has only beat the bottom half of Alpha. Which leads to an easy prediction almost like predicting a LBT game.
Prediction: 24-10 (Enthroners)
Moscow Vandals (6-3) vs. Warsaw Cossacks (2-7)
When I think of Warsaw I think of a great team in Zeta. But the Cossacks are not in Zeta and not a great team. Moscow I think of as a team that is very good and on a bad streak. Moscow should be a strong force next year.
Prediction: 38-3 (Moscow)
Leicester Lynxes (2-7) vs. International Players(2-7)
International Players are on a two game winning streak against two teams very similar to Leicester. International proved me wrong last week, I’m not letting that happen again. International Players in a dominant win.
Prediction: 24-6 (International)
Tallaght Outlaws (5-4) vs. Krakow Cows (8-1)
When in doubt pick the better team. Moooo!
