Just Can't seem to catch a break on these 1-loss weeks... Man. What's the world coming to?
Game of the Week
Transylvania Bloodsuckers at Grim Reapers
Well, one of the teams in the 6-2 pack is squaring off against the lone 1-win team in the conference. A win over the Suckers would put the Grim Reapers in control of second place. A win over the Reapers would strengthen the Suckers' grip on the position. This one could be a great game... Or it could be ugly. Both teams have shown great explosiveness on Offense, and both teams have shown to have an incredible defense, as well. The deciding factor to me is going to be the slightly more effective Bloodsucker rushing defense squaring off against the strong Grim Reaper rushing attack. Whichever one of those sides comes up short is going to lose the game. Can the Reapers overpower or alter to a passing dominance? Or will the Bloodsuckers prove to be too much to overcome and stop whatever is thrown at them? I am going to tilt this table to the side of the Bloodsuckers. I think they are too strong. And it's only normal for me to pick against the Reapers, right?
Bloodsuckers by 10.
Wrexham Maelor Brionnfhionn at South Yorkshire Stars
Undefeated. At home. Coming off a couple very strong wins. Can't pick against SoYo with the hot streak going on.
Oklahoma (U.S.A.) Outlaws at Warsaw Knuckleheads
Warsaw had the audacity to chellenge my prophecy last week. This week I turn the other cheek by predicting them a solid win over a still-building Outlaws team. The Polish offense is charging full-force once more.
Kilkenny Cannibals at Dublin Drunken Monkeys
Cannibals checked another in the W column with game 8 going their way. However, Dublin is nothing like the London team tht W came against. Dublin has proven to bea force to be reckoned with within the league and will likely demonstrate that once more this week.
Ithaca Space Munkees at Basin City Blues
No offense, Ithaca... But there's no tmuch hope for this game. Basin is riding a 6 game winning streak to try to stake claim to be at the top of that 5-team 6-2 pile. Look for a very dominating win in this one to try to get up there.
Amsterdam Arctic Blast at Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine
Well, Amsterdam has fallen to .500. I am sure no one wants to be out of that slump more than they do. This game gives them a good opportunity to do so. I expect it will be with minimal opposition. Even coming off a tough loss, they are still a powerful team.
Belfast Mafia at London Brawling Tommies
Belfast is too much for London to handle. Just in every aspect of the game itself. Just being realistic.
St.Louis Storm at Vatra Dornei Wraiths
Jerry Applewhite is getting back into his groove. He's going to look ot keep the momentum going in a game against one of the better 3-win teams you'll find hanging out anywhere. Wraiths have a chance at the upset in this one, but I am giving St.Louis the credit in hoping htey have learned from recent mistakes to make adjustments wherever neccessary.
