This player excels in the two minute drill. Each level of Clock Manager gives a +1.5% bonus to both confidence and stamina when there is less than 30 seconds left in the 2nd or 4th quarters. In addition, each level of Clock Manager extends the bonus by an additional 6 seconds into the quarter.

I know that you guys wanted a change in some of the late game VA's, understandably. But the changes to Clock Manager seem off to me. According to my calcs, a full 15 in Clock Manager gives the following bonuses:
+22.5% to Confidence
+22.5% to Stamina
Applicable in the last 1 minute 54 seconds in the 2nd and 4th Quarters

This used to be a small bonus to pass quality and catch pass ability. The change to Confidence will still help some as it could improve the pass quality of the pass when hurried. But the boost to Stamina is not going to impact the game at all. Stamina affects the rate at which a player gets tired. Additional stamina late in the game is not going to refresh the player. If he had 74 energy before the VA activates, he will still have 74 energy after the VA activates. With only roughly 2 minutes of time this VA is active, it's not going to make much of a difference to the energy of the player. We do have a VA that refreshes the player in the beginning of the fourth, 2nd Wind, and would have a much greater effect than increasing the Stamina for 2 minutes.

Speaking of 2 minutes, that's not a very long amount of time for the small bonus that this VA will apply. I can't imagine more than 3-4 plays every 4 games where this VA would help matters. As it is, investing in Clock Manager is a waste.

If you would like to improve Clock Manager from it's current state, here's a few things that could be done and still make it not as effective as last season:
-Give a boost to Pass Distance instead of Pass Quality. Pass Distance boosts are less effective than Pass Quality, but in this instance would be an asset.
-Give the boost to Energy instead of Stamina, similar to 2nd Wind (although what's the point when we have 2nd Wind)
-Give a boost to Pass Blocking, this would be a help to the O-linemen but would not break the game
-Make the time amount longer. Double it to 4 minutes and the confidence boost would have more chance to help out.

I think the time modification would be the best way to go about it. The last 2 minutes isn't enough if we're just talking a boost to stamina and conf.

I would say at the very least let it apply to Conf, Stm, and Vis.

Clock manager on every dot just doesn't make sense. A power HB or a DT with extra stamina and confidence is managing the clock? ok

Agree with this.

I can't see even considering it unless it gives you 10 minutes per half or perhaps the entire 4th quarter.
