How do you " tag " a player in the AI ?

What happens when you tag an offensive player, does defense have to be set accordingly. If so what happens to the rest of the defensive tactics?

The tag acts as a variable for an input. The user still has to have a corresponding input in their AI for the particular situation for it to have any effect at all.
