Maybe its just me, but that's a pretty extensive laundry list for the night before we roll into the new season. While I question the decision to move forward rather than extend the off season two more days, I hope that if this list doesn't get shorter over the coming days, that we extend the preseason. It only makes sense to do this rather than hurry up to get things going, only to find that we need more tweaks that directly effect the way dots are built and coordinators set gameplans.

the sim is always a moving target in the pre season. if anything, you should be ecstatic so much change has already been pushed through

What does "raw" mean exactly?

Just your base confidence attribute, before equipment, VA bonuses etc?

So it got changed, but I'd still like this confirmed by Bort that VA's & Equipment WILL be factored into that score.

ecstatic with the amount of change.... yes, and no. FWIW I am fine with all the post/pre season changes, but when the list doesn't seem to be getting shorter and we are still pushing on into the season, I get a lil concerned. My only concern is more (extensive) tinkering when the regular season begins rather than minor tweaking which I understand is part of where we are at in the evolution.

It could be nice to have a stable pre-season. Maybe we could actually use it for something, other then wait for the sim to finalize.

I personally think the change was off base a bit. The fakes should be less frequent, not useless. That is the sense I am getting from 90% of the fakes happening. (They happen every play which is lol). If they dropped the freuency in which they actually occur and still had them be as successful as before in creating separation. It would be great. Plus lead passing looks like it reverted. A lot of stops on routes today.


This x 1000. This is all I ask. Make it work less, but just as effective when it does work.

Yeah, lead passing is damn pretty, so are all the new INTs. Do these not counter each other?

Thanks for all the feedback and help during this extended off season everyone. I received a lot of useful information that we were able to use to help us make adjustments/tweaks/fixes to the sim. We'll be continuing to review the sim during the pre-season and making adjustments if needed. If anyone sees a bug, please post it in the Bugs Forum so we can evaluate it. If you have a concern about the sim, by all means feel free to send me a message and I will review your comments and see if it is a legitimate issue that we should look at fixing/adjusting.
