I personally think the change was off base a bit. The fakes should be less frequent, not useless. That is the sense I am getting from 90% of the fakes happening. (They happen every play which is lol). If they dropped the freuency in which they actually occur and still had them be as successful as before in creating separation. It would be great. Plus lead passing looks like it reverted. A lot of stops on routes today.

been around a while (Season 6 or 7) thanks. and there are small adjustments during the season all the time.

lead passing has reverted... i dont care about anything else.. but god damnit. i want lead passing, thats what this stuff thing was suppose to be for, to test the lead passing.... but where is the lead passing.. its getting worse..

lead passing was borderline impossible to stop, but damn pretty to watch.... this is probably why they reverted it back because it was OP'd big time, There's still preseason for more adjustments but catch is going away for a week

Nothing in the changelog about the lead passing, but the sim today look too much like S28.

My guess, Bort loaded the wrong version of the code.

I just thought I would throw in my 2 pence on this one - Passing

Has something been done to increase INT or something done to the passing apart from adjusting the "leading the recievers"?

Im just asking because we have run 3 scrimmages and my QB has gone from good to down right Tebow-esque!

I have opened the build for now.

you can see through his history that he is a pretty damn good QB, the following are the stats for the 3 scrimmages following the changes (The OC hasnt changed the game plans that much either)

I have read that Bort is going to look at fixing FB lead blocking soon..can he also fix HB blocking when the FB is carrying the ball?

This game was private but I post my observations: I only watch when my defense is on the field.

The sim is looking better but it is still very heavily in favor of the offense.

Not sure if you can see the game or not.

We hurried the QB 18 times, sacked him 3 times, forced 8 bad throws, 17 PDs and one INT yet he was still able to complete 60% of his passes 33/55 for 370 yards. Really!!!! That seems like a great defensive effort until you see the final stats line.

Also the amount of surge and power thrus in the game that fired are way over the top. Power thru does not seem to slow down the runner at all. If you can see what offensive SAs are firing you should be able to see the defensive ones.

BRING BACK LEAD PASSING. That made the passing game actually GOOD!!! I really enjoyed watching the games because lead passing made the passing game to me look really, really realistic. With lead passing, I can tolerate GLB as a somewhat semi-realistic game. Without it, I think the sim is shit. Looks ugly and arcadey. Who the hell throws the ball so the WR has to stop after getting 3 yards on the CB?

- Fixed/increased distance checks for range of lead passes a bit, reduced vision based randomness on finding lead point
- Reduced bad throw chance a little more in general
- Increased strength of raw confidence in avoiding hurried bad throws
- Increased base QB throw time on shorter throws by 1 tick
- Reworked balance of pass rush bonus over time to give more of a bonus to breaking blocks and revcaking than insane pushback
- Reduced pancake/hard block chance on pass blocked d linemen, and pass blocking pancake chance in general
- Improved evasive pass rush spin/rip move to get past or around the blocker more effectively
