I could also post 100s of examples of how lead passing is non-existent. What happened to it? It looked beautiful on the test server, yet I only saw 2 or 3 plays where lead passing actually looked good. Receivers have to slow or stop to catch every pass. Every pass.


yea GLB borted the lead pass before it ever made it to the masses. what happened? It was very prevelant in the test server games i watched yet when it was launched live, ive only seen it a few times, and ive been passing 100 times a game. Our WRs have been slowing or even stopping to make the catch.

This is the truth. Even when I was running heavy run d/o interactions there were beautiful lead passes mIxed in that I noted early and had to make comments about what a good job they did to get this working right. I guess that's my overall concern here (run/pass/otherwise). While what we dealt with on the test server may not have been Ideal, it looks better than what I'm seeing today and yesterday.

We were spreading the field with no QB pressure as well on the test server.

That's why I've been fighting the pass nerfs because they're not even waiting for defenses to be setup to make judgements on the changes.

Let the defense observe whats going on, adjust their VA's and play setups, and try to counter the offense. Instead they just nerf, nerf, nerf

Yea this was my thinking. instead of allowing the defenses to try and make an effort to makes the changes that they need to make to be able to defend better, we rush and just nerf the fuck out of everything. thats why i didnt even try to fight it. GLB has their way of doing things. it was easier for them to nerf shit then to defend the offensive changes they made as a step in the right direction and allow the DCs their chance to adjust to the new Offense.


The point is, most of GLB , VA wise is set up the way the sim was at the start of last season, which was run heavy.... so the defenses are set up to stop the run and what not. Im sure given the chance of a full VA reset the DC's would have been able to contain enough of the offense to have a solid season. But now after the nerfs, once the DCs get a chance to adjust, its just not going to be as good as it could be. GLB ruined what could have been a good season.

Its like the offensive line gets new VA's and now dline gets 3 breaking block buffs.

Pass game gets lead pass and defense gets pass distance nerf, fake nerf and others.

At the end of the day Bort keeps pulling the sim back into the same situation

I agree there needs to be balance. but you need to have something to warrent the balance, you can ask for balance just because. GLB failed on the mass test. they dont know who is using what offenses/defenses to further their causes. I could rig a game up to make it look however i wanted it to, depending on my agenda. But i guess the DCs got their way with the premature nerfs. So what was the point of the extended offseason? I thought it was to test the lead passing, that is all but gone, all thats left is crazy INT rates poorly built DBs that dont get faked because GLB is nerf happy. when all else fails, nerf it.

Is anyone even testing peewee? For the last 5 seasons false starts have gotten way out of hand. I can deal with bad sims although last season was really bad. The one think seriously making me consider quitting this game is the seemingly completely random false starts. They usually do not get really really bad until late in the season and post season. They are starting early this season so no idea just how bad they can get.

Yet another ten today.

They do not enhance the game or make it realistic or fun. They are pretty much ruining the game at the peewee level. I want to play my tactics and builds vs. my opponent's. I absolutely hate random and over powered crap changing almost every game so much. Get rid of them, there is no reason for completely random things altering games.

does tht mean no more changes till the end of next season?

does that mean you will keep making changes up till day 0?

I just want to know if I can start making OAIs ...

cause it bites to put all that work in just to have to toss it away on day 0 and have almost no time to remake them..

(I am over worked and under paid you know) lol

the changes are not finished. they will continue right up until day 1 and likely be tweaked again at midseason or even worse, right before the playoffs start.

There is a slight move before he stops. But if you look frame by frame you will see the HB is moving forward before the tackle. My guess is that the move is the HB reacting to the SS

And this is based upon ~10 seasons experience, with only a single important mid-season change (in S28), marked as bug fix.
