well, my opinion ... my comes from being an owner/recruiter/coordinator/etc of independent teams (for a long time) ... and just knowing (or feeling) that there are many agents that would quit (more so than has left already) if they felt the pro league was monopolized by network and certain groups of users. I recently ran two independent national pro teams (one here and one north of the border) that were competitive ... i argued in fact to get one of my teams to "play up in the past in reg pro elite and national pro ... and they did fine those seasons.

There are plenty of teams hiding in reg pro with pro rosters trying to get cheap trophies (or there next crew of replacements for their "networks"). So, talent is available ... some looking for cheap trophies while some other teams maybe got promoted too fast or shouldn't have been promoted (not their fault)

Fwiw Hedgehogs have been a non-network team since their inception brah. There is nowhere close to 32x8 pro quality teams in this game as the userbase has shrunk considerably. 4 or even 6 pro leagues would make them much more competitive, and teams could still earn their way up from regional pro (i'd have the effect of the regional pro elite's being much more competitive and promoting out of it actually meaning something as well).

imo ... you are just thinking about competitiveness for the nat pro leagues only (and the path to WL) and not the impact it would have the user base. That is where I see things differently.

Imo you are insane if you think there are anywhere close to 9x32 = 288 mainstream network teams filled with Pro+ dots. In reality if that number approaches 80 I'd be extremely impressed. Its easy to see 4-5 dotball syndacate teams and start freaking out, but There aren't more than a couple dozen real and successful networks in GLB.

5x32 = 160. Even if 80 are network teams (and its not 80) that still leaves half the spots for non-network guys. Regardless I think you are grasping at straws here as the userbase is not fully aware of what teams are network teams, and this game is already dieing regardless. Basically you are making up a reason to not contract pro leagues and keep them less competitive...

I think the game was (would be) more fun with a larger user base with active recruiting, etc. ... than a couple hundreds diehards, a couple of networks, and people running a whole team with all or mostly their own players, teams run by admins and testers ... (what percent of teams does that cover? lol)

and I think you are smoking crack.!
