It's working as intended. The play was a pass, not a purposeful scramble/QB run/sneak play so because the QB was tackled behind the LOS it's a sack.
And as tiger said, this isn't the NFL. If you think there should be some reason why a QB getting tackled on a pass play shouldn't be a sack you can make a suggestion to change it to work how you think it should.
