My guy doesn't have high jumping at all (around 40) and I was wondering if Swat Ball would be pointless to throw SPs into with it being so low.

Is swat ball like a pass deflect % piece too by the way? I know that some DTs use it but they add quite a bit of jumping to their builds though.

I believe Swat Ball is a set bonus to the pass deflection score rather than a % modifier, so it should help regardless of low jumping.

If your SS only has 40 jumping then you need to retire him.

psssssssssssh

thats not going to happen. he's doing just aswell as the other safeties with higher jumping. to me it looks like safeties can get by without it being high unlike CBs.

thanks for your useless reply though.

is this set in stone somewhere? i'd really like to know but can't seem to find any real evidence on having low jumping and swat ball anywhere. it would be nice if they explained it better like some of the other SAs.

He's level 71 and playing in regional pro competitive; of course he's doing as well as the other safeties. But as a defensive back, if you want him to be anything other than a liability in leagues higher than the lolminors, you need more jumping. And you're on a DODEL team, so you should probably consider asking the guys there.
