This all the two examples I can remember. I know it will be determined that is the path that was calculated by the sim and Bort but you and I both know it is a bunch of BS.

First play is private - we cannot consider those.

Second play - looks normal to me.

And, as you stated, this is working as intended.

What is it you would like the Bug Mods to do?

Is it normal for a player (the CB) to run somewhat straight down the field when he is already way in front of the play, then take a 90 degree angle to the sideline and then take another 90 and come back to make the tackle.

I would like to just point out that it makes no sense in a real football kind of way.

Unfortunately this game is based on math and not real football. The reaction of the dots is limited to what line/arc can be drawn based on each dots individual attributes and at times, those attributes of surrounding dots.

Sweet! If you need me I'll be standing in the middle of the Yakima river, waving a stick.

Back later!

I've seen my LB Smack Backer do this a few times, my guess is he does it when he's "trailing" the receiver and won't be able to make the tackle from behind.

Look at these play in a horizontal view and it seems less bad. Main difference to RL is that a dot can know when he cannot catch a player from behind. In RL you will see players run and never catch up.

The problem is there is not enough math not that it is due to math. Bort is probably only using one algorithm to predict intercept points. He really needs to use multiple disciplines to calculate the arc that gets an intercept point in the quickest amount of clicks. IMO, that is the foundational problem.
