Alright I had another thread but it looks to be too old to comment on. Here is my ROT now so where should I go from here?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2394800

I've seen some WL and Pro builds but I can't really see what makes their builds better. I plan to get stamina up to 60 or 65 next.

Your build is one of the better ones. I think you'll have to find a way to get agility up over 90 raw to turn it into a great build. (can you find a way to train it higher?)

Stamina to 61 seems the logical next step, also Confidence could well be double-capped, and Speed pushed into the 70s.

Thanks for getting back on the build. I could train agility up but I have to use light training and feel like I could better use that somewhere else. Should I go that high with speed since he is a ROT?

I always like to use light training, 3* enhanced, between 85 and 93.9 at the end of a build like this. The 3% gain per train is a nice little earner in terms of SP gained per train, and agility is an important enough attribute to want to get it into the low 90s at least.

Try the VPB a few times though to see if you think this is worthwhile. (This VPB has accurate high-level training gains for something like this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/120326 )

As for speed, I'm not sure that over 70 is really necessary. It might be worth seeing what other people think.

Yup nice build hoops. I agree c mandyross for the most part. Heres what Id do. AGI to 10-1 cap trained up (should cost you 18 SP and get you to 88.5+, train over and I think 2 more SP through ALGs and youll be around 92... good. Speed to 74 next. Then anything else in stamina. SAs are going to be negligible with a build like that. Toss 10 in Second Wind and 5 in Heart o Champ. and you cover a lot of those small weaknesses in stamina and confidence (playoffs where it matters). The way you have him now hes kinda a A+ combo ROT, 5-6 more in AGI and 10 more to speed and hes an elite run blocker/pass blocker setting around 145-100-100. Damn I wish we hadnt all gotten spooked of revcakes and added Balance as our +SA. First Step would be a nice bonus.

Thanks for the input guys. One other thing I have a question about I screwed up my CAEQ with my bonuses and put them in hold block %. Right now it works but I have my 3rd AEQ almost ready to equip and I don't want to get 1/4 for custom so I am going to replace it. What SA's should I put in there instead? Balance, First Step or something else? Should I change the +6 agility back to strength?

Forget balance, youll never get revcaked until a future buff for DL. I like the +6 to AGI because thats a solid counter against Tech Man VA and it frees up a full 15 VAs youd want to go to Quick without that +6. Plus I think when agi hits around 95 dots start to pop around a lot more. As for SAs and CEQ. How much is your reset on Balance? If you could reset it for 3 BT Id go First Step there and in CEQ. Have around 10-11 in FS, 7 in CB and 2 HB%, I like it.

I would just wait with the CEQ as it is at the moment. The agility is fine and if you have two 5% pieces and the custom also it will get to 25.5% at the end (I think), and I've seen pretty strong arguments for that extra few percent being worthwhile.

If you do plan to change the custom, For me the best bet is to wait for plateau and see what the sim is like. If pancake works for RTs in a few seasons, then you could chase pancakes with custom equipment in that SA, a few skill points spent in it, maximum strength and the VA to give the extra boost. I'm not sure this kind of build is feasible this season though.

First Step is very controversial. Some people like it (I liked it on my OT) and others absolutely hate it, claiming it ruins Pass Blocking as the dot moves back too much after the snap. I'd ignore it at the moment.

If the 3rd AEQ is almost ready, are you going to have enough bonus tokens for 4 AEQ? If you do, I really like the build.

I won't be able to have a 4th. These were the age of players that were screwed by the changes several seasons back. I will only have 1 more offseason before plateau so I won't have enough. Thanks though for your help.

Thats pretty good, as a lot of teams are moving their best blitzing DEs to the right side. My Only advice is to get that stamina up to 60 and then use what you have leftin the way of SPs (anyway you can get them ) to get Vision and Confidence up to 70.

Speed to 68 next, then Vision to 68. Stamina to 60 eventually, but get low and cut block would be the two SA's I would go for and you might not have enough SP to do it all...

If you have any training bars that are very close to full (except for Stamina), fill them and then finish your build training stamina. (Light if you need the BT).

As for the AEQ, mandyross has the right idea. The sim changes so frequently, there is no need to make any decisions until the last moment. Fill the other AEQ to 300 first, then make a decision what you should do. Make sure you use the VPB to estimate your BT so you don't end up not having enough at the final build.
