The CB gets cut block and goes down but still pulls off the deflection. This may well not be a bug but I was surprised to see it's possible

We are very strongly encouraged to believe the PBP and not the graphics. It sure does look like the LT and the CB made contact, and both dots got smaller.

Why do you think it was a cut block and not something else?

Its does look like there is contact, but its also possible the LT shrunk due to a failed "Hard Block", and the CB shrunk because he was jumping or diving.

Even if the Hard block was successful, the CB continues to move, so would be off balance and not necessarily on the floor.

If its just one replay, we'll habe to trust the PBP, if its a common occurance, we might want to double check.

Figured it was a cut block since both players went down quickly and the cb continued moving which afaik doesn't happen if a block has been engaged and ends in a pancake.

to be honest I'm more than happy for players to be able to make plays like this, nothing to say he couldn't still get a hand in on the ball if he was on his way to the ground, just seemed odd so thought I would bring it up.

If I see more I'll let you know
