- Regardless of how this playoff bracket turns out, Darkness has been planning for 2 seasons now to make the jump to Advanced. Most of the players will be moving to Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts in Oceania Pro.
- To Naga Conference, seeing as you guys have felt left out all season Good luck to you all in Casual Pro next season. Red River Rampage has always been a great team, and probably would have an extremely full trophy cabinet if Minnesota Junk Mailers didn't exist. I'm sure you guys will do very well in Casual Pro.
Gridiron Armageddon, I'm not an Addict but I am Omerta which makes you my distant cousin or something like that..lol. Good luck to you guys as well this season and next I assume it will be Gridiron vs RR in the Conference championship game, although Atomic bomb could upset. Either way, if my team is lucky enough to make it to the big game, we won't have the fire power to win, I just hope we can make it a good game.
To the rest of Naga, sorry I don't know any of you, but good luck in your future endeavors.
- To my GLB family in Garuda...this has been the team I have had the most fun with since playing GLB for 4 years. Some of us came in together as Rookies, then most of us got grouped together in Sophomore Competitive #1 and have been together ever since. I think that has been the part that has been the most fun. There is such a high turnover rate of GLB teams quitting early, that everyone is always strangers. I think that is what has been very unique about our Conference, so many teams have been battling it out for over a year real life time. Bus Drivers, Nerd Herd, East Coast Tide, Burnt Orange/Rising Brownies, Dallas Superstars, Rome Renegades, Panama City, Iron Dukies and more recently Zambia Zombies who showed up out of nowhere a few seasons ago and put a scare in a lot of teams. Our League Underground Teams, Hugo Underground and the Dragons. What can I say about the Dragons? A non- boosting team who's players are built so well, and run so well tactically has made the playoffs every season among boosters and therefore has always been in Elite #1 with us. I really would fear the hell out of the Dragons if they were a full boosting team.
- Last but not least, Mustang Nation Touchy "Fillies" I will reiterate part of my thread a couple seasons ago when we first found out Melissa was gravely ill. MNTF and Melissa made our League truly unique. No matter how long we have all played together as a group at this level, we are men and testosterone files around in the forums when the competitive juices start flowing. Melissa always was the voice of reason, and rightfully so made us feel stupid for arguing with her classic lines of "Boys will be boys," or "Come on now boys no fighting over me," with her patented or Then not only did she makes us feel silly and bring us back under control she stripped us of our manhood and reeled in 4 consecutive League Titles. Not only can girls play with the big boys, but girls can also kick the big boys' asses. Good luck Melissa and GOD Speed on a full and speedy recovery. It was great hearing your voice on GROWL Radio the other night.
- So in closing guys, thank you all for making this last year a very fun year. Thank you for being good sports and taking part and going along with the joke of my "You Have Been Consumed By Darkness" threads.
- We should all stay in touch, and when all our teams get to that ripe old age, we should coordinate a mass reset and start it all over together again as Rookies. I'm serious about this too.
- Lastly, I'm losing a few players for next season. So if anyone would like to join Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts and try to make it to World League before these DOTS retire, hit me up with a PM and I'll let you know what spots I have open.
Respectfully and Sincerely,
Jimmy/DavyJonesLocker
