So Demoralize will work on ANY QB rushing play?


Demoralize
This QB is adept at demoralizing the other team when he makes big plays. After any QB rush or pass from outside the pocket, the defense will lose additional morale.

This skill is very important for scrambling QBs who rush a lot. A demoralized opponent will find it harder to make tackles and catch up.

Additional Levels:
Increases the chance of the skill working, and the strength of the morale penalty.

any outside of the tackles im assuming, unless he crosses the line of scrimmage through the middle?

Yes, for any successful pass or rush from outside the pocket. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passing_pocket A QB only has seconds to throw from within the tackle box so a QB may scramble to the outside to complete the play, thus demoralizing the defense.

It will not work on any pre-set rushing play, only pass plays where he tucks it and runs OR pass plays where he passes from outside the pocket.

It used to be explained that Demoralize only worked on plays that were intended to be passes but where the QB pulled it down and ran. I have no idea if that's still true or if it was ever accurate, but that was my understanding.

So a pure rush QB equip this is totally waste?

it is a unique SA, in that it is the only one that refers to the effect that it has on the agent rather than the dot

I thought it was only on an actual scramble and not a pre-set run as well. You never know if it's changed since then, as many changes and all..

They should have a scramble slider already.

I know that question has been answered several times saying that Demoralize only worked on QB scrambles and not designed runs.
