Week 9, Alpha Conference

Johor Bahru Assassins (7th place) at New Guinea Pigs (13th place)

Despite a roster of notable talent, New Guinea has struggled against may be
regarded as one of the more difficult schedules in the conference. These
teams look like they could match up well on paper but I have first hand knowledge
of how cleanly Johor Bahru executes their gameplans on the ground and in the
air..

Johor Bahru by 7

69Mafia (15th place at Bangkok Barfines (6th place)

69Mafia appear to be in a rebuilding phase after an apparent rush of roster moves
and changes while Bangkok is looking for a competitive opponent to solidify their
place in the standings. They'll have to wait til game 10 versus Moscow.

Bangkok by 30.

Maui TetraHConnoisseurs (10th place) at Okinawa Leathernecks (2nd place)

Maui is a rising team but Okinawa has gone to work against several competitive
teams to earn their spot in 2nd place. Maui's aerial game may give them
a few respectable scores but Okinawa will get it done dirty if they have to, Maui's
defense will struggle.

Okinawa by 10.

Myanmar Cyclones (14th place) at Ho Chi Minh Happy Endings (5th place)

Myanmar is deeply struggling and rooting around the bottom of the conference.
The only team who may currently be worse is 69Mafia, who gave Myanmar their
only W this season. Ho Chi Minh appears to be getting stronger as the as the
season progresses. This is a warm up before they face Johor Bahru next week.

Ho Chi Minh by 20.

Medan Shipwreckers (16th place) at Singapore Nose (1st place)

Singapore appears stronger than Medan at nearly every position on the
table and will sell quite a few hotdogs to fans who like blow outs. Medan's
passing game may help them avoid a shutout.

Singapore by 30

Chengdu Vipers (3rd place) at Buffalo Rampage (8th place)

Chengdu hasn't had a cake walk into 3rd place, beating good teams like
Maui, Bangkok and the Happy Endings. Buffalo's most notable kill is
taking down Moscow. The trenches in this game appear to match up
well at a glance but Chengdu's QB has a positive TD to INT ratio while
Buffalo's does not.

Chengdu by 7

Davao Dogs (4th place) at Bacolod Rangers (12th place)

Davao is deeply seeded in the playoff hunt versus a Bacolod Rangers team who
appears be struggling to stay off the bottom rungs of the league. Not a lot to
predict here, Davao boasts regular level differences of 8+ along the offensive
and defensive lines versus Bacolod.

Davao by 30

Moscow Polar Bears (9th place) at Ujung Pandang Warriors (11th place)

Moscow displays definite talent at the defensive and offensive front amidst their linemen and
is no slouch at the skill positions. They've also beat solid opponents in Maui and Johor
Bahru. Ujung Pandang has only won amidst the weakest teams in the league, losing every
match up with any team currently in the playoff hunt. Games are won in the trenches and
Ujung Pandang will struggle at home.

Moscow by 7.

Stuck taking his turn at the podium during a press conference at Ujung Pandang
Stadium, Warrior's backup HB Kija Kah looked furious, "Am I scared of Moscow's
defense? They better not get in my way. I hurt people when I hit them and I can't
wait to add a little bit of Bigby and Snyder to the bottom of my cleats. They're
going to get run over."

2 Minutes left in the 4th, Warriors lead the Polar Bears 17-16, Cannon
Arm takes a gamble: Imma Man (WR 15) vs Kenoh Lerith (CB 19) deep down
the left side.

I don't under stand what happen to our (Vipers) Off ?!?! We only scored 9 points off of & turn overs. I know for a fact that our offense is better then that. To bad we don't get a rematch!lol.Good game, we might see ya'll in the playoffs!
