Warrior General Games

If there is any interest, I was considering providing a power ranking of all the teams after every game. I just finished a new algorithm that I wanted to try out. It's purely mathematical so I'm sure it would give everyone plenty to debate. It takes into account 3 factors related to win % (win %, opponents win % and opponents opponents win %), 3 factors related to the rating on the matchup page (rating, average opponent rating, and opponents opponents average rating), as well as margin of victory. I'll run it after the first round and post my results, but would welcome any other comments as I may be refining the algorithm as we go.

Make rankings for the Alpha and Zeta conference. Go to the Eastern Europe Pro forum and look how they do their rankings.

I'm going to stick with my formula just because I'm interested to see how it turns out, but I'd welcome any help and/or alternative rankings. I don't have a ton of time available, so I can't go into the depth I would like and look at all of the players on the teams, upsets, etc. My program is now set up to do the calculations automatically once I input teams' wins/losses and the ratings as they adjust, so it should be pretty painless to get the data out (although no accuracy is guaranteed).

I've seen point difference commonly used in Ranking algorithms - I don't know if you would want to include that (risk getting too complicated?) but I'm just trying to help.

I'd love power rankings to be done, as long as there's no biased involved.
