I created a punter. I am multi training punting, but should I make it 5 stars first to get the most of training, or just use my sp on it and 5star one of my other attributes first?

Personally I don't 50% enhance anything, I just stop at 30%. You're still going to get it well above 100 natural regardless.

5 star punting
I would do this for a Punter, and only a punter, and actually purchase punting in my multi training(sometimes), not use it as the free slot. Even more so on a NBNC team/dot
I also like to bring Speed,Agility, and Tackling up on my punters, and always boost all my dots, so I may not be the right person to take punter building advice from

The question to ask yourself : Is the extra BT to enhance 5 stars going to earn enough to outweigh what the same BT in quad trains would give you. From 3 to 5 stars costs you 4.5 quad trains from your total allowable BT. Each quad train is worth somewhere around an average of 2.8 SP/to BT ratio per train. So you have to train long enough to earn 12.6 SP value from just the extra 20% , and that is no easy task.
But still NBNC might be able to get away with it, don't have all the extra math involved with that.

^This.
Maybe ... maybe there is scope for 5* enhancing things, but they certainly won't be the first attribute that will disappear above 100 early on.

I have a hard time processing this. It is not uncommon for me to confuse easily.
this part:
Is the extra BT to enhance 5 stars going to earn enough to outweigh what the same BT in quad trains would give you. From 3 to 5 stars costs you 4.5 quad trains from your total allowable BT
I got lost right there. Same BT in quad trains would give? A quad train gives 12 BT's. But how does going from 3 to 5 stars cost you quad trains?
I am not arguing your point, I just do not register it. Please, and I ask with all sincerity, could you explain it like this was my 1st day on GLB.
and I also want to point out, I would only do this with a punter, and oly if I did it very early in build when his punting attribute was still low and 5 star enhancing would give a HUGE bonus.

There is only so much BT you can spend in your career and still meet your AEQ equipment needs. Since light training gives you maximum allowable BT per train at 6, you have to calculate it backwards to see how many BT any perticular training or enhancement "costs you" , Quad trains "cost you" 12 BT, because the same TP spent on light would have been 24, and quad gives you 12.
So going from 3 to 5 stars costs you 54 BT , divide that by 12, and you get 4.5 , so equivilent to 4.5 quad trains.
Yeah i understand its for a punter, just giving some food for thought, because more quad training of punting can still be more valuable then less quads, but better enhanced.

Ive done the math on 30% versus 50% a couple seasons ago and i'll never go over 30% on any dot ever.
