Okay, so here is what I did. I rolled Guard, I made him short and fat. I put str to 25, and rest in blocking. Then I didn't use my beginning 15 SP, I trained str light one time, unlocked 20% extra str training, then intense trained until 34 I'm pretty sure it was, then I caped str @ 49 with my SP, and int trained in str the rest of the way, up to 51, and using the points I got from that unlocked Agility/Vision/Blocking training. And now I'm all out of points and such for the time being.... Did I screw it up? Hoping I did it right, and where do I go from here? I'm still pretty new at this. I'm going for a pass blocking left guard.

EDIT: Here are what my stats look like right now

Sounds right to me.

I think you just multi-train strength and the other skills you unlocked while you spend your SP on strength until you reach your desired strength level.

Awesome, this is what I planned my build to be...

Strength: 65
Speed: 45
Agility: 30
Stamina: 40
Vision: 35
Confidence: 35
Blocking: 75

Is that okay for a LG? Ugh I'm so new at this it hurts.

Not really. You will want to build strength well into the 80's (I take mine to 88) before you train something else (either AGI or Blocking) into the 80's.

I am at work, so I don't have a lot of time to explain my philosophy right now, but I'm sure someone else can show you how to take advantage of softcaps and ALG's to build a monster guard.

The final build of a typical guard will be something like this (without equipment)

STR: low/high 90's
AGI: high 80's/low 90's
BLK: high 80's/low 90's
SPD/CON/VIS: low 70's
STA: 60's

So I put all my SPs into STR until 88, while using all my training on Str/Agility/Vision/Blocking, and once I get my STR to 88 I switch to putting all SPs into blocking until the 80s, then all sps into agility into the 80s, etc, etc?

Pretty much.

I'd take STR to 83-85 range. Then Blk to 77-81. Then Agi to 83-85.

Training Strength/Agility/Blocking/Other is a good idea. Unlock the three main attributes and rotate the 4th one between Confidence, Vision, Stamina and Speed to get those attributes up to the low 30s.

Alright, now the only thing I'm not sure of is how my tactics should be set-up... Right now it is set up as:

Normal Player Intensity
Balanced Running Style
Exact Routes
Pass Block Focus
Wrap-up Tackling Style.

Go hard player intensity. If you don't give up sacks/hurries go to Run Block focus. The rest doesn't really matter.
