I created my players during off season and I trained on light twice to get to 20% training then got to 30% later in off season, but for season 2 I'm not sure what to do with my BT, either go to multi train and enhance that skill by 10% or wait for 40% training and really work on that main skill.

Thanks

This is a controversial topic that has fervent supporters on both sides. Read this (if you can tolerate it):

I'd still say "no earlier than day 7" is the only answer. Don't start too late, either, but too early is equally as bad.

Get your primary attribute at least to 30% and at least 3rd cap. However, don't start too late. My players all started between day 7 and 14.

When to multi train is a personal choice. Pro's and con's no matter what choice you make.

You guys mean day 7 or 7 days after creation?

It gets ... somewhere.

Personally, I wouldn't start to multi train until the main attribute is 3* enhanced, and you have the bonus tokens to enhance the multi train attributes a reasonable amount (all unlocked ones to 3* at least).

If a position has very few attributes that count, then you can keep going with the first attribute on intense for longer. For my low level DT, G and CB I trained the first attribute and enhanced it 5* for the first season. The G and DT will probably be OK, but the CB will never round out.

Opinions vary though ... it is likely that all the techniques that will be discussed in here will converge to a very similar build at high levels.

They mean day 7 of the following season, I think.

It mostly depends on what your end goals are. Starting earlier than day seven can be fine, or even better, for SOME builds. It just requires alot more attention and planning then most people care to put into it. If you intend to start earlier, just make sure when you create, you do not put all of your secondary points into an attribute you are unlocking in the multi. For instance an elusive back, if you cap speed first and unlock Agility, Strength, Carrying , then put almost all your points into stamina or vision, or some pertinent stat that you won't be getting to anytime in the first season.

The biggest reason to start earlier , is to avoid using BT training any other way, once your primary is at the point you need it (alot of my builds start around day 2, once main is at 52.5 and 90+ %, so i can cap it to 61.5 at level 4, roll it over as part of my multi, and be able to reach 68.5 by lvl 8 (with plenty extra SP)). If you only get so much BT to lose training something other then light, i will usually chose that way to be multi as much as possible, since its by far the best train/sp/bt ratio in the game. Just try to use Intense as little as you can to reach your goals, cause it hurts your BT the most, and is rarely worth it.

What I'm confused about is once you do switch to multi-train, are you guys referring to 3x multi train or 4x multi train? Reading Rage's guide, it seems he doesn't unlock his 4th multi-train option until level 22-25!

I'm posting this more for instructional purposes, just to show the less experienced players the thought process behind more efficient building, and to show the projected outcome of following that plan.

Make him 6-4 and 246 (That will be -2 agility, +1.4 speed)

Put 15 points in speed and 8 in vision. He will start at 26.4 speed & 20 vision.

enhance speed 10%
light train speed and enhance to 20%
light train speed 3x and enhance to 30%

switch to intense training. After that it is going to kind of depend on when and where you get training breakthroughs. However once you are 28.4 or higher and a good training % (above 80) then you want to boost 1x and cap at 48.9. Just make sure that you do it before season rolls over (in this case it would be tonight). Train out until D48, then boost the other 2x.

After you hit level 5, and before you hit level 6, 2nd cap at 61.4.

Switch to normal training.

At level 8 and before hitting level 9, 3rd cap at 68.9.

Buy agility and tackling for multi-training. Then enhance both to 30%. If you can't get both there right away make sure agility is 30%, and then get tackling there when you can.

At level 10 cap speed at 73.9. (You may want to stop training while at 69.9 with a high training % rather than rolling over to 70.9 and having to cap at a low %.

At level 12 cap at 77.9

On day 39 cap at 81.4. While at level 15.

On or before D48 cap at 83.9 at level 16.

Boost 3 times before season ends

During pre-season, cap agility at 49.0.

At level 22 cap tackling at 48.98. - Boost 3 times and cap agility at 61.51

Unlock strength for multi-train and enhance 5x.
..

Rages build is alittle different, and specialized, most people are pretty anti- 3 multi , but rage shows it can be used in the right set of circumstances.
