Warrior General Games

OK here we go.
Here is Zak's Mid Season review.
I am not one to make predictions on records...just my thoughts on all this.

Lion Conference
Zimbabwe Beavers 7-1-0
The Beavers came out in the few games and as of now, I put them above the Tuscaloosa Bulls as far as "power." Of for see them being on top at the end of the season, unless they get upset and may end up in 2nd.

Tuscaloosa Bulls 7-1-0
To me, the Bulls have had a gift first 7 games. They have had an easy season till now and I see them dropping even below 1st/2nd. They have performed great all year so fara, I just dont see them in the top 2. They havents yet played the Cutters/Legends/Dragons, and I think they will have a hard time with them. I can see them LOOSING half the games left. (This team to me, record wise now, is the most over-rated team at this time)

Gambia Diamond Cutters 6-2-0
Another solid team that seems to have had 2 losses that were a suprise to me. Fluke? or sign of a problem.

Texas Legends 6-2-0
Great team that has only 2 losses to teams above them, I see them in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Gabon Forest Dragons 6-2-0
This team reminds me of the Legends so far as the schedule has come about, I figure they will be in the top 4.

Uganda Headhunters 5-3-0
A Tough team that should make the playoffs, but seem to have some problems. They cant seem to be consistant in beating others. I see them ending more than .500 this season.

Kenya Naturals 5-3-0
They have lost to the big teams above, and seem to be fairly good. Just like Uganda, I figure they will be above .500.

Bombali Brown-Browns 4-4-0
Just like Uganda, they loose games I thought they should have win. They might make .500 this season

StingTalk Yellow Jackets 4-4-0
I dont think they will make the playoffs by a game, basically they will get knecked out by a team above them.

Seychelles Island Sea Wolves 4-4-0
One of two teams that consistantly piss me off and lose games I dont pick right. I dont think they have a chance of making the playoffs.

Cape Town Crusiaders 3-5-0
The second team that pisses me off and lose games I dont pick right. I dont think they have a chance of making the playoffs.

Kalahari ThunderLizards 3-5-0
After beating the Browns, they MAY make .500 because the reast of the teams are all beatable. They may suprise us. I think this may be (record wise...at this time, the most under-rated team)

Ivory Coast Long Dongs 3-5-0
I dont thinks they will win much more at this time, sorry.

Equatorial Guinea Flames 1-7-0
They beat the Hares, but I dont thinkg they will beat anyone else but the Horn Farm.

Morocco Hares 0-8-0
Who will be the bottom, the Hares of the Horn Farm? Dont know.

Madagascar Horn Farm 0-8-0
Who will be the bottom, the Hares of the Horn Farm? Dont know.



Elephant Conference
Transatlantic Fear 8-0-0
Tied for first at the midpoint, they will be a hard act to follow. Given they will be in the playoffs, the question is to me, is in in 1st/2nd/3rd place.

Tanzanian Terror 8-0-0
I own them, so obviously have some bias. But I will be honest of how well we have been. I would NOT have bet we would have been 8-0 at mid-season. The Wildcast and Fear at this time, seem to be their only threats. For sure playoffs, just which place, 1st/2nd/3rd.

Central African Wild Dogs 6-2-0
A really tough team, but has not yet played the 1st and 4th place. I figure they will be around 5th-6th place. Unless a neltdown, for sure playoffs.

Somalia Wildcats 6-2-0
Another extremely tough team that has only lost to the Fear and Knights. They will make the playoffs for sure.

Casablanca Sultans 5-3-0
I am sure they are playoff bound, I just cant seem to gather where.

Las Vegas Knights 5-3-0
The Knights beat the Wildcats, then lost a few games to teams I thought they should have beaten. Is this a meltdown? Can they get pushed out of playoffs contention?

Chicago Killer Frogs 5-3-0
The Frogs, a team that consistantly pisses me off by making me lose picks. A better team than I have obviously given them credit for. I am pretty sure, they will make the lower end of the playoffs.

Krakow Tigers 4-4-0
This team is a middle of the road team. They will have to fight for a playoff spot.

Kibwezi Choppaholix 4-4-0
Just like the Tigers, they will be hard-pressed to get into the playoffs, they have a tough schedule ahead of them. If they make the playoffs from here, we ALL may be suprised.

Lacashire Wolverines Colts 4-4-0
They are a good team, in a conference of good team unfortunately. They wont make the playoffs, but dont look like doormats to those higher rated teams. Dont underestimate them.

Tunis Asps 3-5-0
To me, this team is one of the best on paper, but they cant seem to deliver with any consistancy. They have to overcome ALOT to get into the playoffs now.

Ghana Billy Goats 3-5-0
They are a good team that still have a shot at the playoffs, but I dont think thay they will pull it off. To many good teams to play still

Namibia Piranhas 1-7-0
One of the bottom four teams that will be fighting not to be the team just above the Spartans.

Gotham City Jokers 1-7-0
One of the bottom four teams that will be fighting not to be the team just above the Spartans.

Kilimanjaro Sno-Caps 1-7-0
One of the bottom four teams that will be fighting not to be the team just above the Spartans.

Sahara Spartans 0-8-0
The desert is very sparse, maybe they need to go back there...

I beg to differ. We have beaten two likely playoff teams, the Headhunters and the Naturals, and two bubble teams, the Yellow Jackets and Sea Wolves. Granted none of them are powerhouses, but I fail to see us losing more than two more games this season. The Legends will probably account for one, and one more between the Diamond Cutters and Dragons. You think our team is overrated because of very cursory examinations of our levels that led you make picks like the Bulls losing to the Flames, even when their entire roster was mostly cpus. Good coaches do a lot more for a team than a slight level advantage.

In short, don't count the Bulls out simply because we lost a game against the highest level team in our conference.

I ain't mad at ya for feeling this way. We had some bumps along the way, but now focused on the road ahead at this point. I'm not going to spout off because of one game, but the opinion was a little more harsh than I think we deserved.
But it is your opinion. I think you do a great job with the picks you post. Nice job, keep it up.

Great point, jg006. Coaching does play a big factor as well. Even though the Sea Wolves had a hiccup or 2 in the first half of the season, we're not the bubble team Zhrakkan and some of you others think we are.

I'll go ahead and post playoff predictions...

Elephant Conference

2. Tanzanian Terror (14-2) - can't catch the Fear or the Dogs
3. Central African Wild Dogs (13-3) - lose to the Fear
4. Somalia Wildcats (13-3) - only the Dogs beat the Cats
5. Casablanca Sultans (12-4) - fearing the Fear
6. Chicago Killer Frogs (11-5) - Somalia and Tuscaloosa outlast the Frogs
7. Las Vegas Knights (9-7) - fading fast, backing into the playoffs?
8. Tunis Asps (8-8) - a big turnaround to squeak into the post season

man bearcat89, no respect for the Samalia, but that's ok we know we still have to get better, and we will. To bad zhrakkan is telling people to watch out for us, I wanted to sneak up on you guys.

Dont worry about predictions, just play out your season and prove him wrong.

But i mean, he is projecting you to lose to the terror, which is reasonable.

I just want to clarify that i don't care what the predictions are, i know they are not going to change anything. He did have us losing to the wild dogs, very respectable team, but now i have that date marked on my calender. This is a very hard conference and to make it out on top you cant let any games go under your radar, the way i look at it is that we have a strong team but the rest of the season will be a battle.

You do have a very strong team.
Should of had the game against the knights.
You win this week though and you will gain a lot of respect from everyone in your conference.
