Alot of cover lbs are built for blitzing. Due to vision on them being a major. But then again there are alot using them for well... Coverage.

vision isn't really as important for blitzers as it is for coverage.
An ideal blitzing LB might have 74 vision end game, an ideal coverage LB might have 84-94 vision end game (including football genius).

Coverage LB's and blitzing LB's are typically VERY different, this is usually what they look like:
The stuff in parentheses is an ideal coverage build, while the initial numbers are an ideal blitzer.

Speed :164 (158)
Agility : 88 (88)
Tackling : 84 (80)
Vision : 74 (90)
Strength : 84 (74)
Jumping : 30 (70)
Stamina : 64 (64)
Confidence : 52 (52)

SA's
First Step : 10 (10)
Disguise Blitz : 10 (0)
Change Direction: 0 (10)
Big Sack: 8 (0)

Coverage LB's can make decent blitzers due to their speed, agility, and SA's... but they aren't optimized for blitzing, so it can be misleading to say that coverage LB's are built for blitzing, because they aren't made to optimize results from blitzing. All blitzers should be built to force fumbles, and should be stacking VA's on fumbles and stacking AEQ towards that direction to target QB's with extremely low carrying and halved strength while in the pocket. Both LB's will have a make tackle % piece, but the coverage guys will have deflect ball % and completely different VA's to optimize coverage and vision. GLB is a game of VA's, % stacks, and AEQ. Now a coverage LB may have enough speed to be a decent blitzer, but that is no reason to say they are built for blitzing, GLB is a game of specifics and details, that's what building is all about, just because you are in the general area does not mean you are capable of doing the same things.

Yes... I know. Was saying a few seasons back ppl where trying to make cover lbs as blitzers to see if it would work.
