Venge has been beating a dead horse up in Cas Pro, and the main forum about the new Preset Off/Def "casual" tactics.
I haven't seen one word uttered down here yet, so I'm asking...Is anybody else but me pulling out what little hair they have left on their heads, trying to figure out how to even use(let alone correctly/successfully) the new system, and "tagging"?

Have not and will not use pre-sets..the whole thing is dumb.

We've played two scrims and I used the the "presets" for both games. Mixed results with the offense, while the defense has been stout both times out. As far as "tagging"....had no clue. That part frustrated the crap out of me. Gave up and just picked a defense from the list. Shaved head...no need to pull any more out

Honestly, it seems like a crap shoot (especially w/ the offenses). I think it's pretty much set it and forget it. I could be way off though, but doesn't seem like you can do much (besides tinker w/ the depth chart) when picking some of options. Did search extensively when these were first announced to get some info. Didn't find much and then gave up. Figured it'd be trial and error.

I will not use them...if you think you have little control now, just click one of those pre-sets..

I'm gonna mess around with them in the preseason but I don't like the lack of control I have over things when I put one of the presets in play.

Don't get them and don't want to try to understand them either

I have been testing them (I know Kings Crusaders are getting sick of the scrims) and have one more scrim scheduled. But so far I don't see any advantage to them. Like Poppa said you have no control at all.

I'm trying out those offensive and defensive presets, but to be honest, I think you need to use the custom depth charts with the offensive, and for tagging on defense...and I am clueless in that regard, plus I don't have any "specialist" archetype builds like you might use in regular AI leagues.

We only use 1 QB, and he's a deep passer archetype. These new presets are best used by teams that have a rushing QB and a passer...an elusive back, and a power or scat back, a blocking te and a receiving te. My team is very straightforward and I will just have to keep using the percentages as usual.

Well after looking at all the scrims, we will be using the old % based systems.
