Just a look ahead at the teams that will be joining us in the Gold league next season. Congrats in advance to all who advance! Not completly sure about this but I think all of these teams in the championship game will advance to Gold.

Silver 1:
18-1 Garbage Pail Kids vs 13-6 T-Town Capstoners

Silver 2:
18-1 San Antonio Saviours vs 19-0 This is Anfield

Silver 3:
16-3 O'Side Pee Wee's vs 13-6 Lakeland Florida DreadNaughts

Silver 4:
19-0 Hudson Deuces vs 19-0 Green Bay Packerz

Silver 5:
19-0 Kill Devil Hill Flyers vs 19-0 Mission Beach Monarchs

Are there still going to be 8 teams promoted to Silver?

Ya, promoted to Gold, demoted to Silver, got my words mixed up, but you get the point.

I thought I heard 10 demoted from gold to silver....

It was asked in the most recent Q & A, and Bort said it's 8. The 3 best Silver silver teams get promoted along with the 5 Silver league winners. Unfortunately, Catch has now removed the link from GLB main.

That makes sense, that's what they used to do when more than 8 gold teams wanted to go down, they just added 2nd place in silver teams. The question is, how do they pick which are the best 3 2nd place teams. I would like to see a playoff like they have in soccer leagues internationally to decide promotion but that isn't going to happen and it is probably points allowed or overall record that will decide it.

Yep, I asked Support about this and it will be determined by Playoff wins, then Playoff games played, then Season record, then points against. So in other words, of the 5 league title game losers, the three with best season record will go up. So I take from that that the losers of:

Hudson-Packerz
Kill Hill-Mission Beach

are guaranteed a place in Gold, all being 19-0. Similarly This is Anfield would be promoted if they lost, also being 19-0. San Antonio would go up if they lost and Garbage Pail won, otherwise Garbage Pail would go up as 3rd best runner up on points allowed, should they lose the title game.

Is that clear?

I would love to get demoted even though I made the playoffs, I hate this league...

There are ways to get demoted in gold and remain competitive in LE's NBNC league. Just run a junk offense & defense when playing Gold teams and switch back to your normal one when playing NBNC teams. Usually there are not this many CPU teams in Gold, so if you can "throw" the gold games, you should get demoted.

This is the first season I used the tactics Calender, works quite well, however Bort's Presets don't...lol

Garbage Pail won, so San Antonio are also guaranteed to fill a best runners up spot if they lose now.

GPK won but GPK coudn't fill a roster for next season so GPK is not being renwed, such a shame cause I would have kicked your ass
