The Oranjestad Pelicans (http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1717) will be a Sophomore team in season 27, and we're looking for good players to join us.
At the DT position, our depth chart for next season is (ST denotes special teams start):
DT4 (ST): Open
Why the Pelicans? Well, I have a top 5 reasons for you:
5. How many teams are in Aruba?
4. Be a part of something at the ground floor and help build it
3. Player records are kept on the team's message board (who doesn't want to shoot for the most broken tackles in franchise history?)
2. The team isn't just seeking fill ins to go around the owner's players.
1. Your promised playing time will be kept (no "I'll start you" that changes to 4th TE 4 games in.)
Sound interesting? Well, here's the nitty gritty:
Step 1: Send me a PM. Let me know which position you are willing to fill (ex, just 2nd WR, or is 5th WR okay?)
Step 2: I'll return the PMs (to confirm receipt) and update you on when my decision will be made (my current timetable is Tuesday)
Of course, I have to cover a couple of rules on the team first as well: 1- inactives over 5 days without posting on the msg board about being inactive will be removed. 2- all contracts will be one season, no-trade. You will not be cut or traded for ANY reason (but you will get the playing time you were promised). 3- I have low tolerance for ruining others' fun. So don't call people on the team names, complain about everything, etc.
