Here is a DE that I had a good amount of success with in the past (keep in mind that this is after several seasons of decline).

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1362416

Obviously, the effective lvl system doesn't agree with my builds. Whenever I ask for feedback, I get a lot of "retire him" comments. But, I won back to back MVPs with my old DE and I have been following the same basic build plan with my current DE's, with decent statistical results to this point. Has the game changed that much in the past couple seasons?

Any ideas for next VA?

Retire both.
You have way less nat agi then you really need... And it's too late to fix.

This is the type of lack of dicussion I was talking about...

1) the older player has been retired for several seasons. That being said...you would have me retire a 2 time MVP caliber player because his build is not what everyone else says it should be?

2) take another look at seasons 14-16 for the retired player. People always say my builds are too spread out, but I generally get results. I'm not looking for praise, I'm asking for a discussion of textbook builds vs. actual in-game results.

U havnt won any MVPs with the active DE u speak of, and only 1 for your retired players total. That being said anyone can waste SPs on SAs early on OR round out your build earlier than people building for long term success. This method will win u mvps quite easily if that is what u would like to do because u gain a short term advantage. Im not saying that was what u did but the fact that it can work makes MVPs early on a mute point as far as how good a build is. If u want an honest opinion of an agility DE, you should have taken your agility a lot higher. I would also argue that u need STR to be very high now(endbuild at least), to the point id keep just enough agility for techman to fire, get SPD to 100-110ish and then pump STR for more of a hybrid type RDE. I notice u didnt use any SAs yet which is a good thing I can only advice u change up your training program since that seems to be what holds ur total SP value back as well as your end stats on your attribs. Do u multi-train and do u have enhancments??

One more thing, I have an agility DE who had tons of success but the sim fucked us and now only a handfull are any good at the upper lvls, STR based is the way to go now.

The effective lvl changed to a more "to this date" system, because people made so much better builds and that makes it better to compare your own dots with.

But for your build, a bit late to change it because of the loss off ALG:s

You should have taken AGI to atleast 83 nat from the start (i took mine to 85), im taking my SPD to 83 and later my STR also to 83... Then you should multitrain your main atributes for atleast the time you put SP to them... My lvl 39 DE has AGI at 93 natural now and im still going to train it once around

Honestly, this is all the discussion that is needed.

Rounding builds early gets early success, but cripples effective building. Its not about going against the majority sais a build should be, its going against mathamatical strategies that give any build better ending numbers.

I am not a racing fan, but think of it this way. A lot of people have cars, and get money every day to improve them , and race every 2 days. The majority of people are putting all their money to making a better engine that will dominate later, while you are tinkering on a lot of little things and buying more gas, so you can pit less and beat the people slowly saving up and fixing their engine. You will no longer be able to ever get an engine as good as theirs now, and when they are done, they can still get all the little things you did, but have a better engine.

It's truly the only thing needed to be said... The sim changed alot since your one MVP... Now with that subpar build you may get better results in pee-wee. But if you did that and got to the 70+ lvl range he'd be behind ALOT. But to each his own.

E: BTW it's only 1 MVP.

You're correct. I say 2 because he was robbed in season 15 and came in second.

Regardless of that, I understand what you all are saying. I just get frustrated after a while in these type of games because building becomes boring and redundant. It becomes pointless to try anything different because, mathematically, your options are limited.

Off hand it looks at least semi effectively spread out, what are your 3 unlocked mlti-trains? Without knowing yet, i would say agility to 88, strength to 48 cap, speed to 74, Speed to 86 (likely some minor stats capped to 48 along the way) Strength to 81.

SPD, VIS, STR are unlocked for multi train.

SPD, AGI, VIS have 30% enhancements. STR currently has 10% enhancement.
