I did this every week last season over in silver 1 and it got a good bit of interest there so I will carry it on with this league.

I don't know as much about the teams here since I didn't play in this league last season but looks like there are a few good week 1 games.

Game 1
0-0 Mission Beach Monarchs vs 0-0 Belfast Evil Leprechauns
-Both of these teams have a full roster of 55 players which is more than you can say about most of the teams in this league. I am not very familiar with either of these teams but Mission Beach is projected to be in the top 5 in the league according to A.I. Belfast made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs in this league last season and lost 24-0 to Corrupted Mayors who lost in the semi-finals. This game should be a great one!
My Prediction: 35-14 Mission Beach Monarchs
Script Prediction: NA

Game 2:
0-0 Michigan Crusaders vs 0-0 Pittsburgh Steel Rangers
-Michigan made it to the silver 5 championship last season where they lost to the same team that beat Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh made it to the conference championship where they lost to the eventual champions. Both of these teams have a full roster of 55 players and are most likely looking to get to the championship this season. Pittsburgh has already boosted their whole team and Michigan hasn't boosted anyone so this should be a very tough game for Michigan unless they decide to boost before the game. If Pittsburgh knows what they are doing Al wise then they shouldn't have any trouble in this one vs a non-boosted team. This should be a great one between 2 projected top 5 teams!
My Prediction: 42-28 Pittsburgh Steel Rangers
Script Prediction: NA

Good Luck to all teams in silver 5 this season!

Yeah it looks like Seric is getting serious from the start this season! No chance for us against a tough boosted squad.

Do they normally boost early?

Monarchs- 41
Belfast - 3

Pittsburgh I'm not sure about. rko_mark and dude34 are both very good. That being true why a full boost so early ? How much of the team has Seric turned over to them if any at all ? krpolaski can coach with the best and when i pick against him boosted or not he always proves me wrong. rko_mark ran a tight well organized team that was tough to beat when he had the McKenzie Rebels and dude34 made some noise with we bring you Love so IF they are running the team, coaching plus the boost makes it a no contest. If not I'm afraid to pick against krpolaski

Pittsburgh - 24
Michigan - 13

Dude is my oc he has full control of the offense. Rko doesnt do anything. I just create the players. As for boosting early, i did the same last season. Will explain more later when i am on my computer, not my phone.

Keep in mind, my boosted squad lost to a nonboosting team in the conference finals last season. You run a good team, krpolaski.

You lose out on a lot of training boosting this early...That could have contributed to that loss

As for the boosting early.

Now that you get the same XP each level up to a set level, it is no longer important to hold off on boosts if you don't plan on keeping the players after the season. Actually, A.I. You are the one who explained this to me when I asked you a couple seasons ago why you boosted early.

As for Training, I don't think that had much to do with it. I had no DC last season, so the DAI never changed the entire season. Good scouting would have shown this. So if you know what you're doing, you can set the OAI to take advantage of it.

This season, I have a DC. So things will hopefully be different this season.

Last I looked very few teams are boosting early in Gold this season. 2 seasons ago they all boosted before the first game because of the new faster player training.

Probably got to expensive for most to boost each season???

Thanks AI but because of the holidays I am not even done putting my team together. I was rushing to get it done before the Steelers game but once they boost I put it off. They were a tough team straight up but boosted we did not have much of a chance. My builds tend to mature around the end of the season not so much early. I played basic D and O against the Steel studs forgot to set my advanced gp's.

Don't count out the Crusaders. We will still be a force to deal with in the playoffs!! Good luck to all this season.

boosting early in a pee wee league doesnt lose anything really anymore. you can at most get to level 16 anyways. the daily XP and game XP dont change till level 16. but the benefit is good especially cause home field advantage once playoffs start helps out alot. now if youre in a regular league it hurts. cause you lose out on the extra daily and game XP cause you reach level 16 faster and only end up being level 18 by seasons end as where those who wait can get to level 19.. believe me, it cost me a gold for one team i won. team had all 19s and me all 18s and we lost by like 4 points or something to a team we would of beaten if levels were the same.

Because you have to, to compete in gold...Silver competition is so bad that you could enter the playoffs 16-0 with maybe 1 or 2 tough games unboosted...My silver team last season went 14-2 and made it the the conf championship unboosted and only lost by 14 to the team that ended up winning the league

I know about the xp side of things but I also know that there is a loss in training...I coordinate 3 teams in gold and built half a team of gold dots this season...To maximize my builds I run them all through the VPB for my early boosted dots in gold and my unboosted dots in silver. The training can get some of the minors/majors to around the same as the boosted dots if you know what you are doing when you train. Silver dots that wait until the playoffs to boost should have at least a 5-7 SP higher EL than early boosted dots. Those 5-7 SPs you have up on early boosted dots could win you a championship even without the greatest Als

I recall the two of us talking about this. With the new xp system I am personally for early boosting. If you're going to boost why not get your moneys worth and play a full season boosted. I'll send you a pm explaining why iI questioned it.
