This is the 5th Annual Tournament that is being Sponsored by "The Combine" network.
This seasons (S26) tournament will again cover as many age groups as we can get enough participants for. We will, however, try to avoid 8 team brackets and have decided to not do brackets that can't come up with a minimum of 12 teams within a reasonable EL range. We are still hoping to have a lot of Casual teams involved, BUT since there are fewer of them and not everyone signs up, we will likely be forced to cut some of them out, but that will be based entirely upon the number in each grouping that sign up to play. We also have a maximum number of teams (32) set in any bracket in order to ensure that we finish prior to the playoffs.
► Registration ◄
Please have the team owner or co-owner from your team sign up. They will then be invited into the PF, where they can discuss the tournament with our staff, interact with the other team owners & GM's and keep up to date on the status of the tournament. It is imperative that whoever signs up for this tourney keeps up with their teams status, schedules games in a timely fashion and reports results to us.
► Brackets ◄
As mentioned above, we will be separating teams into various brackets based MAINLY on effective levels. This is non-negotiable as it is what this tourney is and always has been based on. Team age, league played in, etc.., does not matter for this tournament, so there could be a Semi-Pro team playing Pro teams if their EL is close to theirs.
► Trophies ◄
The trophies will be awarded for performance based on bracket size and placement.
12-15 Team Entries - 1st & 2nd place trophy
16 or more Team Entries - 1st, 2nd & 3rd trophy

► Scheduling of Games ◄
1. Typically we ask the Higher Seed to send the challenge, BUT either team may send the scrim request. It is not a valid excuse if you sit back hoping the other team will be forced to forfeit and just say that they are the higher seed. Send the challenge.....
2. Regular season games, IF and only IF they are within the rounds time frames, may be substituted, and then only if both owners agree.
3. If you have all 6 scrim slots taken up, and cannot possibly get your tourney game complete in the appropriate timeframe, you can be forfeited for your round, so please leave some open dates.
► Please try to stay on schedule and keep things going. Getting too far behind schedule will ruin the fun for others waiting. Getting too far ahead will cause you to wait around and get tired of waiting. So please keep a steady pace going. The below is a guideline, but not exact. We will allow a few days window for those that are actually trying to get games scheduled. ◄
1st round games will be played before day 6.
2nd round games will be played before day 12.
3rd round will be played before day 18.
4th round games will be played before day 24.
5th round games will be played before day 30.

One very important bit of information here that we want to get out..... we are conducting signups right now to get a list of teams and figure out how many brackets we will need, but the actual breaking down into groups / brackets won't happen until around Day -4 or Day -3 when we will take a look at all teams and their effective levels and start the bracket process so teams can hopefully start scheduling games around Day 1 or Day 2.
