Okay, so I've decided to make some offensive linemen.

Having done some research I've gotten the picture that Str/Blk are the two most important attributes. So I rolled my oline and dumped 25's into Str and 18's into Blk, made em Short and Heavy, and put my first equipment into Str.

The question is where do I go from here? What are the first critical steps that need to be taken to ensure a good build?

Most my mid leveled players kind of fell behind the building curve because I missed the mult-training early memo.

I believe the strategy is to intense train your primary so you can cap it before you boost to level 4. (which should be before the new season starts.) At this point you may have to light train to build up BT. Then you unlock skills to multi-train and include your primary attribute.

So for a run blocking O lineman you will most likely...

Train strength to 33 or 34
Cap strength
Boost to level 4
Multi-train strength, blocking, agility, (vision or confidence)
Spend all SP on strength until it is where you want it. I think some stop at 77 or 82ish and continue to multi-train it beyond this point. The details on this part are fuzzy for me because I have not done it yet.

I would suggest using the VPB to plan your build. It can be very time consuming but make sure to take notes as you go through it so you can past your notes into your player notes. Then it is as simple as following the plan in your notes every time you level up.

Here's what you do:

1st train, light train in strength
Use BTs to increase strength to 2 stars.
10 more intense trains in strength gets you to 34, so you cap strength. You now have 20 BTs on day 48.
8 more intense trains in strength gets you to 36 BTs. Now you can unlock block/agility/vision (confidence for centers) for secondary training.
Now you're quad training. Make sure to stop training strength when it's above 90% and strength is above 60 (or maybe 67). Finish the attribute off with one final train when you're ready.

Here's what I did:
OT: stop at 84 at level 19, train up to 85, 12 SP left after 1st season (will cap blocking before 2nd season)
G: stop at 86.5 at level 20, train up to 87.5, 1 SP left after game 2 in 2nd season (projected), next is blocking
C: stop at 90.14 at level 24, train up to 91.14 (projected), next is blocking

Centers need the least amount of ancillary attributes, like speed/vision/agility. A center's job is simply to stand up to the DT/NT and not get pushed around. Other linemen need to be more mobile and agile. Centers also need the most confidence.
