seen references to these--which sacks are "insta-sacks" and which are not? what exactly is meant by that term?

thats an example of one, where the qb can't even begin reading the d. Basically unless you block a te you're sacked no matter what instantly.

It's liked no one even tried to block the RO, even though he was right on top of a Guard. The Engine doesn't block 'inside - out'? You look at the formation, and it seems the initial pressure should have been picked up.

Of course, this doesn't mean that something on the outside wouldn't have came clean, but that's a slightly further distance, so a quick drop could at least let you hit a hot route, like the TE on the blitz side, or a RB to the flat on Blitz side.

Boy, that play happens so fast, I can't even really tell what all is going on. For the longest time I thought the RO was a RG getting blown off the ball! LOL!

Oh that's ugly! The C has to take the NT by himself with the LG picking up the blitzing LOLB. The LT takes the RE as usual, so the TE there doesn't make a difference. The RT takes the LE as usual, but I can't tell what the RG is doing. He should be preparing to take the ROLB or the MLB if he blitzes, but instead it looks like he's hiding behind the RT, leaving the RT to block the LE and the LOLB.

As far as I can tell the ROLB, LOLB, and MLB all had clear routes to the QB. The ROLB simply got there the fastest. They blocked with a TE anyway, and still all three LBs had clear shots.
