I think I broke every cardinal rule in the guides... since you tend to create your player before you get to the forums and all that. I didn't put any Attribute to 25, I didn't put the rest of the points into my Secondary Attribute. I also bought into SA's early.

Now, here I am. I know what I want, a Pass Rushing DT. I know, I know, those don't exist. I will plan on a twist, since 'PR DTs don't sack qbs'. I want to emphasize Vision into my build. Why not, already screwed the pooch so to say.

I've decided that Agility is his 'first primary' and have included it into my Mutli-Training. I am using Agility, Speed, Strength and Vision for now. STR and TKL will swap out, just not sure at what point.

I had also bounced points around each time I leveled, so I didn't sink them all into AGI... or any one Ability for that Matter.

So, to correct this as much as I can, should I just run my AGI up to the 83-87 with my Points and Training, then go for my 2nd Attribute? I'm going to take a hit in STR to put those points in VIS... unless I figure out that STR is more needed than TKL (since STR will help you TKL and FF). But something has to give for me to boost VIS.

After AGI I'm thinking of working STR next, running it to the 83-87. Not sure if this will screw everything up yet or not, as far as getting Vision where I want it.

Anyways, the right move now is to 'pick my main primary' and run it up to 83-87 as fast as I can... or am I way off?

Thanks for the help!

I have 80 Vis on a DE with 125 Agility, 100 SPD and 80+ STR. He is terrible. Vis is not gonna help u out man srry. 80 Vis is a TON to have on a D-linemen, 60-70 is normal.

the build will be above average at best, pass rushing dt's hardly produce anything

I hate to say retire and start over on day 40. Especially for a pass rushing DT. The reason why pass rushing DTs are rare is because most agents have learned the hard way that they simply do not work. They have not worked since probably about season 7ish. That is not to say they won't work in the future. They just mostly end in fail and tears.

As to salvaging a build. Now days it is impossible to catch up with elite players. The best you can do is end your build with a couple levels over the effective level or break even. Multi-training is the key. That is to multi-train your major skills to extreme levels while still maintaining enough BT to fully upgrade 4 AEQ items. You will need the 58 eq points to compete in the pros.

For your first player if you have the patience and don't mind disappointment, keeping your player is not a bad choice. It allows you to see how the end build works sooner but you will realize many mistakes along the way.

If you use fire fox and greasemonkey the script below is useful for planning out your end build.

Thanks, AngryDragon. Just got my VPB to work, though I'm not very good with it yet. Hoping that helps me in the future.

This should get you through first year.

A general good rule of thumb is this. Make sure your first attribute you intend to cap is at 27 at start ( with 15 points at creation and +2 from height or weight ). DO NOT SPEND THE 15 SP YOU GET AFTER YOU CREATE CHARACTER YET!! Then enhance it once 10%, then train on normal twice.

1) If you are going extreme build (meaning you intend the base attribute to end at least 100+), then enhance the attribute to 20%, and intense train it till day 48. If on day 48 you are at 34, then add the 15 SP you start with, and cap it at 49, then boost 3 times. If you are at 33 on day 48, spend 15 BT for a SP and apply those 16 points to make it 49, then boost 3 times. Continue training the attribute on a mix of normal and intense, your goal is to be able to reach 61.5 with your 18 SP before about day 3-4 when you level to 5. You should have 3 attributes unlocked and ready to quad train by day -2 to 2, enhance up to 30% as the BT becomes available (not your first, just the unlocked ). Begin quad training, including your first cap as the 4th train, and make sure and cap efficiently as you level, keep an eye on your decimal endings, and training percents and be smart about when you cap your first attribute. Continue this all season, and you should be able to get your first attribute at 86 and 90+ percent by end of season 1(don't forget to boost before day 48). As for what to unlock, for extreme builds, i recommend the attributes you intend to cap 2-4 since you have to spend so long training your first cap as well.

2) If you are not going overly extreme on first attribute, then do not enhance to 20%, but continue to train on normal till day 48, and boost 3 times. Continue to train this attribute on normal till day -2 (you may cap to 48.5 now or wait for level 5)(or slightly earlier if its at a high 95+ percent). Then unlock 3 attributes for quad training, and enhance them all 10%, as well as the 4th you intend to train . I recommend attributes 3-5 you intend to cap, and use the 2nd attribute as your 4th quad train (if your second cap neds to finish VERY high as well, then unlock 2-4). Continue enhancing the unlockables to 30% as BT becomes available, one you want the highest can go 40% if you wish, but i recommend only one. Make sure and cap efficiently as you level, keep an eye on your decimal endings, and training percents and be smart about when you cap your first attribute. By end of season 1, you should be capping your first attribute at 84 (make sure you boost only enough to make ending attribute under .25 decimal so its cheaper from 81-84) use all 3 boosts by day 48 though.

Your second attribute should now be 33-38 (the one you should have placed your remaining creation points into after primary went to 25), and ready to be capped at 48-49 when you reach level 19-21 depending on position and alg's.

That should get any dot a good start, and things get wildly different past this point, depending on build and ending AEQ needs.
