Have a question you want answered about anything regarding GLB? Ask here and we'll do our best to answer it for you. We will keep this thread open until 11/18/2011 and then will lock it up so that we can get the questions answered.

Rules of this thread are simple:

1) All forum rules apply
2) Keep it on topic. Ask a question and wait for your answer. This is not an opinion thread, nor is it a place to question/attack other users.
3) Show respect to users asking questions. We want this thread to be a resource for users and a place where they can come without fear of facing forum trolls and personal attacks.
4) General Support related questions (i.e. general game play questions) should still be directed to Support. If I see questions of that nature, I will direct you to contact them.
5) Asking when we are going to add a feature to the game is not really a question. It's a question veiled as a suggestion. If you have a suggestion to make, please do so in the Suggestions forum. We will not answer these types of questions.
6) All off topic posts and questions will be deleted in order to keep the thread organized and focused solely on the questions.
7) In general, most sim related questions will be answered by Bort. If I do not personally answer your question it's because I am going to pass it forward to him for review and to answer. It will generally take 1-2 weeks after this thread has been locked before those questions will be answered.

Seen many a game where sim kicks a fg with less then 60 secs left and a team loses due to 4th down..


Links? Shouldn't be happening so we might need to make a correction to the end game AI we use for casual but I need to see where it's happening in order to make the fix.

Fairly happy yes. Will probably be some small changes before we come out of Beta though. Won't be rushed changes done without testing though.

1. I've always wanted OL blocking assignments (like designate particular OL to block particular defenders on a given play) or even preset blocking schemes but that's NGTH so it's just a pipe dream.

2. Still want to figure out a way where other attributes have more meaning/value. In a vacuum, a player with 90 catching should be able to catch a pass much easier then someone with 60 catching. And while I am sure there is some advantage, I don't think it's enough of one. It was one of the reasons we did the AEQ revision but there still is some work that needs to be done in this area. Easier said then done though.

3. I'd like for the vision checks for defenders to read run/pass to be a bit more difficult. Just seems defenders are too omniscient at times. I see safeties come from 15 yards off the ball to make a tackle in the backfield all the time. Should be harder to do imo.

I find that the general sections have a limited result set (for instance, "Game Simulation" has 189 entries but you can only access the top 60 or so http://www.glbwiki.com/qa/viewtopic.php?50 and there is no option for "next page" that I can find)?

If you search by terms, the number of terms that rturn results are fairly limited and the results are limited to 20, again with no capacity to go to "next page."

Like last time, I'm not going to turn this thread into a passing game is broken thread. It isn't. That being said, we are mindful that there are some areas for possible improvement and we are reviewing them.

No, we do not feel they are overpowered or unbalanced.

Because we are happy with the number of formations and custom depth chart slots currently in the game and have no plans on adding more.

Before you go to save the AI, right click on a link at the top of the screen and open in a new window or tab. If you've timed out, log back in and then save your AI. Or you can always hit the back arrow if you've timed out and try that.
