I'll just be setting my passing to 100% and exploiting the AI in the SIM.

Clearly outmatching your opponent in levels and depth and exploiting their weak spot gets you nothing in this game.

For those of you preaching Game Plan all I have to say it Yeah, Right. Come talk to me when you actually have some options in the game planning. Maybe when they actually implement the Offensive AI.

Partly my fault for refusing to believe it was not possible to run the ball when teams were evenly matched. I now have no choice but to believe everyone else and the hundreds of posts on the topic of the uselessness of the running game.

Oh well, not much to be done at this point.

not going to argue against your opinions ( they seem set ) ... but the Brighton Bears players are for the most part have their stats in the right place and usually good game plan set in motion ( used to have my guard on their team ) ... they are tough team to play against

Yup... I give them credit for winning the game. A big play and a 50 yard FG. They made the play they needed.

Not so angry about losing. I am pissed off at the way the SIM works. I out leveled their front 7 with my front 7 and average of almost 3 levels per man and a blocking full back lvl 16. With that total and complete miss match, which it was, I ended up with 109 yards rushing and 2.4 yards per carry.

Sure, they may of set their Game plan to stop the run, I get that. But, if that is the only determining factor in the SIM then why bother? It becomes nothing but a coin flip.

It's just frustrating and unless the Offensive AI adds some depth it's just going to continue.

Sorry everyone.... Should not bring my frustrating here.

Rather than delete the posts I apologize for my outburst.

Well played Brighton.

I personally believe running is a very big part of this game (as it is real football). It's also not for those faint of heart. Nothing drives me nuttier than when the sim abandons the run because of an early deficit, thereby ruining my chances to get back in the game. It's happened a couple times this season.

I'm certainly not going to tell you how to gameplan, and with even more certainty not going to give you advice on how to better play in my own conference. To each their own. Some games will leave you scratching your heads, and I'm no stranger to tirades after losing a game I was sure I had the plan down to win. Best (and sometimes hardest) thing to do is develop some convenient amnesia and move on.

not neccesarily running, but ball control. passing accuracy is as important as running.

i guess it's like Pink Shirt defense vs MU offense

no matter how many 4 star kids or 5 star kids you get to play defense, they are going to put up 35+

76?.. that's an awful lot of rules. I don't know if I can get on board with that kind of plan.
