Where Do I find pre-snap reads on how offensive formations look? I just am looking for a snapshot of where the dots would be lined up pre-snap, in various formations. More for WR slots, and TE's. Thanks for any help ........ Please post or PM me!

If you go create a play, you can select any of the formations and it will show how they line up.

Neither one of these two answers help. You can't create offensive plays. Disa ....... where does it read which dots are which? It will show how they line up, but I want to see them labeled as WR1/WR2/WR3 ........ or TE1/BTE/TE2 ...... etc.

Does that make sense?

I believe it's always:

WR1- WR3-WR5-WR4-WR2

That's reading left to right assuming offense is headed north.

Regardless of the play, that is the order in which they line up (and just skip any WR position that is not currently on the field).

Nope. In Trips Left they're WR1 - WR2 - WR3.

Is it seriously WR1-WR2-WR3 etc. left to right all the time?

No.

I forms and Pro: 1....2 (no WR2 on Big I, of course)
SG, SB, and SB Big: 1.3.....2
Spread: 1.3.....4.2
Trips: 1.2.3
5WR: 1.3.....5.4.2

bug gave the rule to remember above, but my description might help those more visual people.

If you want to test it out, schedule a friendly with someone and call one play from each formation, setting only one dot at each WR spot on the depth chart. You'll see where they line up in each formation.
