is there going to be a way to use the tags in the DAI so that you can say "IF # (certain same tagged X) WRs THEN _____" or the like?

in other words, can I have one defense for a formation with 2 speed WRs and another for a formation with 2 possession WRs?

edit: please clarify title for me... meant in the sense that the tagging options are DEEPER and wasn't wanting to limit discussion of tagging changes to wideR's--looks like it could be read that way since I used them as example

now I'm confused...I've seen you can now tag anyone on offense but there doesn't seem to be any way to do anything with that info unless the tagged player is lined up in one of the spots that previously allowed for tagging.... do I need to create a new DAI from scratch to be able to set formations based on newly tag-able players?

Or, is the only use of the new tagging for when someone lines up OOP?

I'm pretty sure this is the main reason for it. With the new 2 TE sets, a lot of teams will opt to put a lineman or a WR at TE.

Could use an option for tagging them all at once. Tagging 10 linemen as blocker just in case is kinda tedious.

What is really needed is a "not" option on the tagging. Like if the BTE is NOT tagged as a reciever, etc. Would help solve a lot of those issues + could also be used for if QB is NOT tagged as a passer - would treat any other player in that position as a rusher, etc....

I wish the tags were in the DPC itself so I could set coverage progressions like Reciever TE>Reciver HB>WR2.
