For shits and giggles, I briefly glanced at teams' schedules and came up with a 10 minute analysis of the impending end of the season.

End of The Season Projections
1) Pewnts 16-0
2) Bengals 14-2
3) Warriors 12-4
4) Bolts 12-4
5) Wildcats 12-4
6) Squirrels 11-5
7) Raiders 11-5
8) Hangovers 10-6
9) LUEs 10-6

I think the last spot for the playoffs will come down to the August 9th matchup vs. the Hangovers and LUEshis.

I'm biased, so I'll pick the Hangovers for the 8th spot.

Playoff Prediction

Pewnts vs. Hangovers
Bengals vs. Raiders
Warriors vs. Squirrels
Bolts vs. Wildcats

Pewnts vs. Wildcats
Bengals vs. Warriors

Pewnts vs. Warriors

Warriors in the upset.

I'd like to see the Squirrels higher, but I guess coming into a brand new division and being projected in the playoffs as a 6 seed is a good enough start.

That's a long way to go for the Warriors! Quite the prediction.

It could just be that I'm biased, but I did this as well:

1. Pewnts 16-0
2. Bengals 13-3
3. LUEshis 12-4
4. Hurricanes 12-4
5. Wildcats 11-5
6. Squirrels 10-6
7. Raiders 10-6
8. Bolts 10-6

Which means the playoffs will look like this:

Pewnts Vs Bolts -> Pewnts
Hurricanes Vs Wildcats -> Wildcats
Bengals Vs Raiders -> Bengals
LUEshis Vs Squirrels - LUEshis

Pewnts Vs Wildcats --> Pewnts
Bengals Vs LUEshis --> Bengals

Pewnts Vs Bengals ---> Pewnts

Pewnts vs Superior Grizzlies ----> Grizzlies win Championship.

At this point of the season, I think the top 9 teams in the West are fairly close. The gap is not all that big. Come playoff time with all the last minute boosting, anything can happen.

l4boMb4, we seem to do better when you pick against us, please keep on putting us as underdogs.

What makes you think the warriors will beat us? Have the Bengals shown any weaknesses?

We have given up -17 yards rushing on the season. Best in League
4.9 points a game. Best in League
20 sacks. Best in League

Defense wins championships.

We could do a little better on offense but it's coming around. Oh yeah and 80% of us haven't boosted.

Might want to hold those cards up a little higher there, buddy. We can see your hand.

the fact that we haven't boosted helps you beat us how?

Do I really need to explain how knowing the number of boosts you have left is a tactical advantage?

I wasn't referring to my team beating you at all. I was simply suggesting that handing out information like that (which could have benefited you if you hadn't mentioned it) probably wasn't the best idea.

It's like playing poker. You can show someone you have pocket kings to scare someone out of the pot... or you can keep your cards on the table and clean up.

LOL...we don't care who knows about our boosting. We will win anyway.

for the most part we all pretty much know who's boosted, and who hasn't.

Yes. Please do. I thought this sort of thing was settled on the field? How can you adjust tactics based on boosting? Not being a smartass, I just want to know.

Well, say for example that all your CBs are level 18 at the end of the playoffs. If you hadn't told me that hardly anyone had boosted, I might not have planned for them to all be level 21 and may have been more likely to throw.

Let's assume that all my WRs have already boosted, and are at level 19. I'd see level 19 WRs, level 18 CBs and think "Let's throw on them". Then, right before the game you boost and I've got a QB throwing at level 21 CBs.

Of course, nobody is going to do that now, since you've said that (nearly) all your players haven't boosted yet. There's something to be said for the unknown.

We always check levels right before the game so there are no suprises. I assumed everyone else did too.
