I have seen some back and forth about the quality of the SAs for the hardhitter LB archetype. With the exception of Monster Hit - are any of them worth investing in? It seems like a lot of people are advocating for skipping most of these the SAs altogether, and then using AEQ to boost up Monster Hit. Thoughts on this?

As a side note - I have been around GLB awhile but I have very little experience with LBs

id agree that monster hit is the only one that is worthwhile.

Snarl is actually pretty under-rated, especially as a first in tree SA. Diving Tackle is also underrated as well.
Monster Hit is very good.

The others are junk.

So what the heck is the difference between Monster hit and big hit?

Any SAs you suggest adding (e.g., via bonus tokens or AEQ)?

Monster hit provides a larger bonus to the fumble roll and takes away more morale when it's successful.
I would suggest adding first step or super vision to a hard hitter. Both of them will help you get to the play a heck of a lot faster. Then load up on monster hit and make sure your VA's are good (power tackler, sure tackler). Play on balanced tackling have an end build with 140+ speed, 85+tackling and strength, and 77+ vision and agility.

Get one % force fumble piece, one % make tackle piece, and then use the other AEQ on SA's (Monster hit, Super Vision, First Step)
