Im taking Strength up first then im thinking of doing speed 2nd and tackling 3rd but before I start thinking about doing that how far should I be thinking about taking strength to? Im also going to take it strength isn't the big key to forcing fumbles like I thought it was and its a collection of things that helps force fumbles as my guy has 19 tackles with 0 FF so far in the d-leagues despite a bigger strength rating then my 400 day old LB and he has actually forced some fumbles on higher level players.

FF has alot of factors, str being one. The others include tackling and the opponents carrying. I believe also that the speed you are running when you make the tackle helps. Vision perhaps as well? Hopefully the more veteran HH builders will correct me. Also the hard hitting tactic rather than wrap up or balanced...but at low level this can lead to missed tackles. It's hard to get FF at low level anyway.

Thats the thing I actually am on power tackling and despite that still 0 FF which I guess just goes to show it takes more than just brute strength to force some fumbles. Also haven't missed many tackles either which has surprised me actually only 1 missed tackle in 20 tackle chances.

Pretty much correct, vision and agility play a larger part in the make tackle roll then they do in the fumble roll, but one must have a high enough make tackle roll to get the chance to roll for a fumble, which is why tackling is so important, as tackling, vision, and agility, play a large part in the make tackle roll and if you can consistently do that well you'll have a lot more fumble rolls than a dot that can't. However, the fumble roll is a large part str, and momentum, with tackling, vision, and agility playing a smaller roll.

So... yes, your dot probably has a chance to make a good fumble roll, but he is likely very seldomly getting one.

For instance, this is one of my youngest generation of hard hitters.

On him I took tackling and strength to lower caps early on and used multi training and ALG's to get them up to good end game levels then took speed to 81 ASAP. Thusly he was able to force a lot of fumbles even at the lower levels due to a high tackling score allowing for the fumble roll to occur more, and high strength allowing for it to succeed more. But due to multi training and a decent plan on my end I didn't sacrifice end build viability to do so at early levels. Your dot will be fine, just make sure you end with tackling in the 80's and vision and agility in the high 70's to low 80's.

If you can hit 140+ speed, and get vision and agility to 78+ along with strength to 80+ and tackling to 80+ (natural and then add textbook tackler) you can do well enough as a hard hitting member of the secondary while being decent enough not to blow coverage.
This is where my very first hard hitter is at now and he does rather well even though he was terribly built IMO.

Power tackling is a waste. Just stay balanced.

Although tackling is huge for the FFum roll. That and momentum are probably two of the most important ones.
You should always go speed first on a hard hitting safety. Then vision or tackling.

Good to know on power tackling. Haven't got a HH to the level I want to use it yet anyway but will keep that in mind.
