No the bonus is calculated based off of natural attribute values.

Why does Bort weight KR stats more than PR stats in the ST MVP formula?

All this does is favor returners on average teams with average defenses that give up a fair amount of points and thus get more KR opportunities than PR opportunities.

Is he looking into improving the MVP formulas (more specifically the ST MVP formula) or is he still stubbornly convinced that these formulas are working well enough?

You've asked MVP questions enough times and received responses from Bort each time. Not forwarding.

No OOP and yes vision does help find players to block.

The VA gets the diminshing returns?

You are not phrasing the question in a helpful way...VAs do not get diminishing returns.

I think your question is meant to be:

Does the Slot Machine VA multiply your effective SA level for Route Run and Sticky Hands, meaning that it could take a an SA with 10 and multiply it by 45% so that the SA is treated as though it is at 14.5 (thus presumably suffering from diminishing returns), or does the VA multiply the *effect* of the SA by 45%, regardless of whether the *SA effect* is currently subject to diminishing returns?

Is the only difference between the INT and PD roll the presence of catching in the INT score? Does catching even play that large of a roll in the INT score?

The Int roll is basically the same as the receiver's catching roll, with the prerequisite vision checks and any "fight for the ball stuff" going on beforehand.

2) Does Sticky Hands fire at all in "non-clutch" situations? Would it fire on 1st D in the 1st Q when the team is up? Would it fire on 3rd D when the team is losing? If so, is the bonus much less than a late game, losing situation?

1. Quick Cut/Change Direction works for any position who has change direction quickly. Doesn't matter what they are doing.

2. Sticky hands works all the time. Its bonus is just higher in clutch situations.

Concerning stiff arm and turn the shoulder, do they appear on PBP every single time they fire or can they fire and not show up on PBP? Is TTS affected by break tackle% or not really?

From bort's phrases like a year ago, we had to conclude that both could fire and not show up and yet still have an impact. Can we get some explanation or clarification on these two?

Also, considering we got big sack to fire on QBs after they tuck the ball, can we get a GLB-mechanics definition of "sack" ? Is it just a QB tackle behind the LOS? If so, can break tackle SAs fire during pass plays in these (both before and after tucking the ball, meaning two answers please)? Is big sack supposed to fire on a QB pass play after he tucks the ball? Does the "scrambler" VA part about breaking sack tackles works in running plays and passing plays, both before and after tucking? Can we get clarification on that?

Also concerning QBs, can we get clarification about the options for scrambling, tucking and running? Clarification similar to what we got for the running style slider? We now know the slider only affects the number of ticks between each recalculation of a path, how about something similar for those QB options?

Finally, still considering QBs, on scripted plays (example: screens), does look off/pump fake/other SAs ever have any chance of firing?

Thanks for your time, would really like answers.

Turn shoulder generally won't show up in the text if the ball is passed, since the pass-related text overrides any other text. Stiff arm can show up, but it can also be overridden similarly. They should generally show up as icons, though, in the animation.

A "sack" is a tackle of the QB while he is in "pass" mode. Anything that says it works on sacks shouldn't work when the QB is running with the ball. "Big Sack" doesn't work if the QB is no longer in pass mode.

The QB scrambling options just scale the point at which the QB will decide the threat level is too high and start rolling out or running. The "never" settings have a very high threshold for the threat calculation, and the "frequently" settings have a very low threshold.

Pump fake, etc, does not work on screens.

If Olineman without Pancake SA can execute pancakes, what does this SA actually do?

Yes, they do.

Cut block gives the blocker another way to take out a defender without having to overpower him.

Can you tell me why this is considered a bad pass when the QB actually led his WR on a go route?

And my follow up questions is this:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1813321&pbp_id=2544105

Can you tell my why this isn't considered a bad pass since a WL QB can't throw the ball 15 yards in the air?

Bad pass refers to if the ball is a spiral or not (easy to catch). Bad passes have a high chance of going off target, but the amount they are off target varies. Perhaps your decent looking "bad pass" is only off by a few feet. A "good pass" could still be off target if the WR screws up or the QB has a weak arm and throws it short.

Can you explain exactly what "Pass Distance % AE" does?

Since blocking has an effect on break block rolls, does hold block% AE have any effect on break block rolls?

2) Increases the QB's max pass distance, and thereby his quality over shorter distances.

Remind me again, are Route Run SA and Scat Back SA the same thing or does Route Run not have the catching component? Does Route Run give a higher agility and speed boost than Scat Back?

Route run doesn't help catching. Just running routes speed/agility. Scat back does both, but only for HB/FB and its bonus to speed/agi is not very much in comparison.
