We did not want to make level 80 EQ upgrades possible. It's as simple as that.

I know wall is a defensive SA, but the way it is worded it sounds like O-Line could use it, but it is not available to them. Why is this?

Because it's not something the O-line can use (unless they are playing defense)

When is Bort going to turn on the Effective level script?

We have several players that are above level 75 now and as such the powers that be should have enough info to create what a player would look like at level 79....

Thanks

It's already on but it should be updated to higher then level 75 soon.

Lets talk Hurdle.

Try as we might discussing this SA, it's near impossible to tie down what is the secret to getting Hurdle to fire more than a few times a season. So, what is Bort's opinion on where the primary stats involved should be when we can expect to start seeing Hurdle at a rate close to what we see Spin or Power Through.

Couple things to note about Hurdle.

---Hurdle is the only SA that can trigger along with all of the other broken tackle SAs, and is also overwritten. If both Power Through and Hurdle fire at the same time, it only says Power Through even though you get both bonuses.
---A hurdle can take place only on a very specific event (a diving tackle).
---Hurdle is much more effective with higher jumping and higher points in the SA.

That being said, we have done some testing on hurdle and are discussing various ways to maybe enhance it (buffing the SA and adding it to Quick Feet).

There are some suggestions that have been brought up for a vote and have received strong support. I was wondering what determines the order in which you implement them and if some will not be implemented at all.

Suggestions voting is merely a guide of what users are thinking about and talking about and which ones they support. Just because something has received a groundswell of support does it mean we will implement it. We use the suggestions to help us make decisions on things we feel would be good additions to the game. Some we agree with and add to the game. Others we do not. Also there are things that have been voted on that are on the to do list but are low priority thus they haven't been completed.

Only when I direct him there. Bugs is my job and it's my responsibility to communicate bugs and issues that need to be corrected to him.

Also is the impact for both linear or decreasing?

And the last one, could we get an rough idea how big of a skills decrease 80 energy and 80 morale is?

We won't give those values out or discuss which one has more of an effect then the other.

The new accelerated players and free player seem to be a positive step towards making this game more friendly to new players, while keeping the existing players happy. Was this intended and are more changes with this intention on the way?

That (as well as rewarding our customers) was definitely the intent. We do have a few more changes on the horizon and are going to do everything we can to make the game more new player friendly.

One question.... hope it fits here.

If, in fact, season 27 does end out being the last season in Beta..... what does that mean for the players that we currently have, and will there be some kind of transition of flex points(that have been spent and currently locked up in players) to the "new"?

Will have no impact on the players you currently have and there are no plans for any type of flex transition. We are not resetting the game in any form so it will be business as usual in that regard.

are the effects of chemistry proportionally mitigated at the lower levels similarly to passing? i.e. you've said in the past that passing gets a little bit of a buff w/ each subsequent level down from Pro; is the same logic applied to chemistry, albeit in reverse?

No there is no change of chemistry effects based upon league level.

Meaning concrete formulas for VA effects, attribute synergies, etc.

No they will not be.

what's going to change when the game comes out of beta? What will be the difference?

Major changes will be done (things like archetypes, accelerated player development). We'll still make cosmetic changes and additions and will of course always work on sim issues and bugs.

Catch22 or any Mod,

If GLB goes out of Beta in season 27 will all of our Dots be reset to lvl 1 or will they maintain the lvl they are at? Most games make you start all over coming out of Beta so I was curious about this.

They will maintain the level they currently are at.

good question.... also

how big of a revamp will the DPC get with the new formations?

It'd be nice to be able to move CBs around in the DPC (like CB5 over to the CB1 side), instead of having to hope they will move to the right spot on the field.

Are the LB restrictions going to be tweaked at all? Like being able to drag a MLB out to the TE2 on the left side, and then select "or Blitz" ?

Would it at least be possible to have the DPC dots, jump to the right spot when the "cover man" option is used?

There will be no revamp of the DPC other then to allow for coverage match ups.
