I've built a pass rushing DE as an experiment, and i'm going to only spend TP all season long, then spend SP before the first game next season. He won't boost.

Any advice on where to take my attributes with TP during this first season and should i be doing intense or light? I was thinking of taking agi>speed>vision>str to 49 (or as close as i can) with intense training then going to a light train. I could be way off though. Maybe it would be better to focus on getting agi/speed to 77 instead?

Well you are going to do it wrong if you are going to do it like that!

You should only train to 33-38, the point is that you train untill you can cap the attribute... So looking at your build, you should firstcap agility ASAP!
You should open multi-training as soon as you have the bonustokens and because your dot is made day 42 you should have enough to open multitraining for your main atributes... So open strength (minor, but important for DE:s), speed and tackling! You should then enchance your agility to 30%, then when you can, speed and strength also.
After you have capped agility just continue training it untill you have SP to cap it again at 61 and so on... You should take all 3 atributes to atleast 77-83 (depends if you boost, but im guessing this is the free dot).

PS: You missed last seasons 3 boosts... With your free dot you can boost also. But now you shouldnt boost untill the end off the season!

PS2: Ok didnt notice you wrote that you are not going to boost! But even so you should cap attributes when you can, otherwise you miss the ALG:s

Holding sp for that long is a major fail. Whoever advised you to do that doesn't know what they are talking about.

Well, nobody advised me to do that. I was curious how it would work out and since this forum doesnt have a search feature (unless im totally blind) I couldnt find any advice regarding it.

I've read about at least one team with owners advising players not to spend SP for the first season or two. That was the reason for my comment. Most people don't suddenly think "hey I bet I could make a good player by not spending SP" since it doesn't make any sense unless you've somehow gotten the wrong impression about how the ALG system works.

Get the player builder and test your build theories out. Will help a lot.
