So I live and work in downtown Chicago......im a die hard Bears fan and the buzz around here is how bad the Bears offensive line is and how many times Jay Cutler will be sacked so I ask you for your opinion. Over/Under 50 sacks against Cutler and the bears...

Last year we had 52 and led the NFL so my guess is going to be somewhere around 40.

Really? Where abouts? Born and raised there myself(Rogers Park), used to work for Harris Bank at Franklin & Monroe. Ever have spicy chicken from Silk Road? Dam I miss that stuff!

As for Cutler, l think they will protect him better this season.

No shit! I live right next to Rogers Park in Evanston. I work downtown for the Chicago Sky, the WNBA team. I handle sales for them and then I work the game day operations too at the allstate arena. You know I've never been to Silk road but I've heard of it. Do u still live in chicagoland?

Yea with the addition of Gabe Carimi we should be a little bit better, on the right side anyway

No, I am in Phoenix now, but make a yearly trip to Chicago in the summer, around the Taste. I grew up just off of Kedzie in between Touhy & Howard and went to Loyola for HS.

LOL, you're probably walking distance from where I grew up. No, actually don't remember that place, I left the area in 2002, but was never a big Italian Beef fan. I did hit a couple places in that area when I was in this past July...

Gulivers - awesome food, especially the deep dish pizza, and just a neat place to have dinner!
Lou Malnatis - best deep dish pizza in Chicago! Gino's East is a close 2nd.
Dengeo's - great lunch spot!
Pekin House - best egg rolls ever, on Devon 2 blocks east of Western.
Fluky's(or what ever it's name is now) - love those char dogs!
Barnaby's - worked at the one on Touhy, but that closed, so have to visit the one out on Caldwell & Oakton, great thin pizza!

Dam you, it's only 10am here, but this is making me hungry!

As for cutler is such a bust you guys screwed up letting K orton go way better QB.

Lou Malnati's is great, Gino's East is damn good too and I love Giordano's too.
Portillo's is a classic chicago spot and of course Harry Carry's.

As for the football, Ill take Cutler over King Neck Beard (orton) any day. Cutler is just so much more talented than orton. This year cutler is going to have a good year if our O line plays even somewhat better than last year. But mike martz offense has traditionally allowed more sacks than any other offense

Na, Cutler has more talent than Orton, the question is if the OL can do a better job this season.

I think Cutler is a more gifted passer and more athletic, definitely more talented, however I'm not convinced he's a better QB than Orton. At least with Orton you know what you're going to get; a 100% effort every single day and always puts the team first. Cutler is like the spoiled only child who throws a fit if he doesn't get his way.

Teams that use players to their strengths -- rather than retool their roster to get players to fit their system -- are the ones that get the most out each players potential. If Chicago had used Orton better he could have led the team somewhere I think.

In any case, Chicago's window is closing. Their D is aging and with Detroit on the rise they're going to have a tough time finishing 2nd in the North and trying to grab a wildcard.

this for sure(but the part on det im not believing in this.

Im a eagles fan so i dont know your team in and out but what i do know is sometimes when its your fav team you see it diff. In my eyes as far what i have seen cutler is like romo supposedly has so much but shows up 50% of the time cutler has no consistency. He is above avg at best

All IMO

I'm a Packers fan so while the Bears aren't my team, they're in my division so I know a bit about them and watch them play at least 2 times a season.

But I agree. Cutler and Romo are overrated, whereas an Orton is underrated (in my mind).

Romo is not over rated but outside of Demarcus Ware and Jason Whitten most of the other Cowboys are.....
