I think part of that has to do with the lack of agility/CD SA that you see at the higher lvl, and part of that is the RB is makin a cut back. Its not like overpursuit is a bug as much as part of dotball.try building a peewee team and then posting comments like that
...imo there is really no logic to it at peewee level ...if dots lack vision and agility or CD SA at such a low level to sustain reasonable coverage, then make their angle of pursuits lacking or a slower reaction time (keep in mind that the offense has the same lack of vision, agility and SAs), but to have the outside coverage run off the screen and not be in any way accountable is just unreasonable for a strategy game such as this regardless of the level ...as a DC at peewee level, it is not manageable coz switching to zone coverage doesn't resolve the issue coz those dots don't respond well to it and zone coverage is virtually useless for them at that stage of their development ...from my observations, coverage assignments and dot placements really don't have a say in trying to fix the problem that this issue causes
...it may be that we are building the dots wrong, and/or we need a different perspective on player tactics, but if these new changes to the game have affected peewee in such a way, then we should be provided with a better understanding of how this affects us, so that we can obtain better value from our investments in this game!
